“We just left from Reyes Mexican Restaurant and it was the absolute best experience! We were looking for somewhere fun to have my birthday lunch with my 3 year old daughter and husband, and came across this place. Our waitress was so sweet and kind with my daughter, bringing her out strawberries while we waited for our food. Then, they surprised us by playing birthday music and bringing out hats for all of us to wear and dessert that was delicious!! We left out of here feeling like we couldn’t have been more lucky to find this restaurant and would love to come back here every time we’re in the area! I got the steak tacos (YUMMY) and my husband got the beef enchiladas (SO GOOD!). Thank you Reyes restaurant for making our day!!”

“We drove an hour to see--and dance--to the Dan Lepien band. Great atmosphere! Hats off to the bar/wait staff for outstanding service! The food was great. Loved talking with owner about Army and Army sports. Thank you for your son's service.The only negative for us and others that follow Dan was that you didn't have the band in your dance hall. We and others specifically called ahead to check on a dance floor. That would've made a great night even better for us.”

“What an awesome little place! Me and my friends got three of the apple cider doughnut shakes, and they were just amazing! We got three full apple cider donuts, stacked on top of an amazing apple cider, vanilla, ice cream, shake! Super rich, fruity, and just overall delicious. All of the other ice creams are from the chocolate shop here in Madison, they have specialty shakes that are changed every month, and regular shakes, and they are all incredible! There's also all sorts of candies, and products from other small businesses, which is really cool. A little on the pricey side, but overall, I highly recommend!”

“We have been here twice and the food, service and atmosphere have been amazing each time. The Saturday prime rib melts in your mouth and the drinks go down easy. Oh and the CHEESEBALL?! If I could put the heart eyes emoji I would. Price is reasonable and fair for the amount of food you get. Staff and owners are hard workers and love the business. 10/10 recommend!”

My personal favorite items are the bacon cheese burgers and the buffalo chicken strips.What really sets this place apart is the people who staff it and the owners who so clearly care about their community presence. “Went for lunch. Food was ok. A bit over cooked, a bit dry. I had chicken strips and Fries. Service was ok when we first got there, there was only one other person in the bar/restaurant. So service was fine. Ordered a soda, ordered food. But as time went the restaurant was getting busy. Service fell off the rails. Brought out our food, and the next time we saw the wait staff was when he brought the bill. No refills on soda. Drank what we had before our meals were brought to the table. Nothing to drink for the meal. I guess we could have gone to the bar and ordered more, but they came to us when we were seated at our table, so I just assumed he would be back to ask if we wanted refills.Nice bar/restaurant atmosphere. Good music. Lots of TV's if your interested in watching. Lots of seating at the bar, and I was told they have a dining area as well. The place is nice and clean.I would give this place another chance if and when I am ever in the area again.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a wheelchair ramp.”

“We got the crispy chicken dumplings (#1a) and the fresh pork spicy cat ear noodles (#28). The cat ear noodles were SO GOOD - I especially liked the wood ear mushrooms in it, they were absolutely delicious! This food was so delightful. I’ve heard good things about Taigu and wanted to give it a try myself, and I am very happy with the experience. The portions were large, so one entre can feed 2 people. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! So good!!!”

“Vegetarian options: Not the vegetarian of the group but my friend had multiple vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Google searches showed it to be a place with gluten free options before going but there was only one gluten free dish available (the oat breakfast bowl). So not as gluten friendly as we had been hoping for my friend with the intolerance.”

“This place is simply fantastic on all levels. Excellent drinks, food and environment. They have live music which we did not see, but gives us another reason to come back soon. A great spot for date night or larger groups as well, they have a private room space that can hold up to 30 which is pretty rare these days.”

“I love the remodel of the interior and the new cafe in this building! The makeover is modern and bright with plenty of seating options. I’ve made the trip to Verona a couple times just for their coffee and it’s always worth it. The have great local pastries and their espresso is perfect.”
