“Had some great burgers and a huge chicken salad. Server was super nice and prompt. Food came out really fast after being ordered. The staff help me with a simple needed in a nice and respectful way and I am ever grateful, will stop here again!!!Parking: They were so kind to a parking need I had!!“
“Great local spot in the downtown district. Great service with a unique coffee-shop/diner atmosphere. Great breakfast food options at a reasonable price. The only issue we found was that it is a local favorite so you may have to wait a while to be seated, but well worth the wait!“
“During a road trip, hunger struck after a night of late-night driving, leading me to discover Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant in a quaint town. I was promptly seated, and the friendly staff set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable breakfast experience. The restaurant was bustling with activity, reflecting its family-friendly atmosphere. Although the place was quite busy, the staff managed to seat me quickly. However, the anticipation built up as the food took a bit of time to arrive, understandable given the morning rush.As I settled in, I couldn't help but notice the lively family-oriented setting, with children scattered throughout the restaurant. While the presence of kids was expected in a family restaurant, the boisterous behavior of the youngsters in the booth behind me added an unexpected twist to the ambiance. Their enthusiasm took a mischievous turn, involving the launching of french fries and turning around on the booth. Additionally, the cacophony from loud iPads blaring music videos about "skibity toilets" became a persistent soundtrack, occasionally testing my patience.Fortunately, the arrival of the food shifted the focus back to the delightful breakfast awaiting me. The meal surpassed expectations, delivering a delicious and satisfying experience. The fair pricing and impeccable service further enhanced the overall positive impression, making it a perfect start to my day and road trip.In retrospect, while the exuberant antics of the neighboring kids added a unique touch to my visit, the standout quality of the food and the attentive service at Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant overshadowed any momentary disruptions. It served as a comforting and hearty breakfast stop, leaving me fueled and ready for the next leg of my journey.“
“Service was amazing. Will be back for sure. They have 1942. If that even registers to you then you need to check this place out. Great Sterns pinball machines. Even if the flippers are smaller than what it ships with. All the games worked. No out of order signs. That's rare with machines from this era.“
“When you stumble on one of the best local breakfast spots... You have to share!GREAT options for gluten free versions of their menu items - hint: Eggs Benedict was PHENOMENAL (had to actually compliment the chef on the hollandaise!)Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free breakfast options were some of the best we've seen, and for a small town feel eatery they were very familiar and able to recommend options and modifications that did not feel restrictive.“
“Great local bar food. The Packer Backer (2 brat patties with kraut and cheese) is my favorite, the "kid" (21) loves the Black and Blue burger, and my wife loves the pesto grilled cheese. Honestly there are very few places where we all love at least one item on the menu. The waffle fries are always perfectly done, nice and crispy. Though they could time down the amount of salt they use on them just a little bit.“
“My first time in the place and I had a lot of fun getting the ladies in there to smile and joke around...enjoyed just waiting for my delivery order.. nice atmosphere real quiet seems like a place kids could go, as the bar is separate from the restaurant part sitting. My customer stated that he really enjoys the wings I guess from there?“
“I have been very happy with my experience! I am able to eat like a bodybuilder (or any macro balance I could ask for) without needing to sacrifice all flavor and my Sunday afternoon. I have consistently eaten a balanced diet all month thanks to Midwest Meals. I love that I only have to grab the food from my gym’s fridge. Unlike large meal prep brands like Factor, I’ve experienced NO quality control issues, with all of my food arriving in pristine condition. Additionally, the Midwest Meals storefront is convenient when I am looking for some variety in the middle of the week or when I didn’t order enough. 5/5“
“My wife and I were really happy with both the food (she got a salmon dish and I got traditional wings with fries). We were very happy with the food. There was an honest mistake in what my wife ordered, and the staff bent over backward to make things right. The thing that she received was really tasty and filling, a happy little accident, as Bob Ross might describe it. Goofs happen, but how they handled it was first-class.The pricing was also very reasonable. Two main dishes and one beer was about $40.Tasty, friendly, good service, fun atmosphere! We'll be coming back.“
“It was good, but super busy. Didn't seem to have enough people working that day. No one was at the bar or the front desk. We were waiting for several minutes to be seated, even though there was no one in line ahead of us. We didn't see anyone who worked there for a while while we were waiting, and then they were in and out, serving tables. Once we were finally seated, we enjoyed the food, and even got to see an airplane take off. That was cool. Our daughter would love to see that. The fried pickles and the Flat bread were super good!“
“Husband and I were looking to celebrate Valentine's Day a day earlier to avoid long waits or a crowd on the day of. On a whim we stopped in at 5 pm, fully prepared to be told the restaurant was full. Pleasantly surprised when they were able to seat us immediately, even thoughtful enough to hold a table for us while I was trying to find a parking spot. Definitely recommend the Lion's mane "crab" cakes- I would come back just for this and this alone. I had the scallops which were a seasonal special and they did not disappoint. Husband had the pineapple pizza which was great also. Looking forward to coming back to try more!“
“Our server was super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was served in a timely manner and delicious, except the green beans were overcooked. Hence, the reason for the four stars instead of five. Overall, Texas Roadhouse is one of our favorite places to eat.“
“This is a very fine place to eat. The staff are incredibly friendly and never make me feel like I’m doing the wrong thing. The food is always a banger, and the strawberry shakes are perfection. I only have two reasons why I took a star off. The first reason is that one day I went through the drive-through, and I looked like I had woken from a 10-year coma, and I saw someone I knew working. I was slightly mortified, but he just gave me my number, and I drove off. We have never acknowledged the moment, and I never plan to bring it up. Reason two: the most recent time I had gone here, I was extremely sick, and after I ate my food (which was very good, I might add), 45 minutes of my evening were spent on the toilet. After I washed my hands, I realized my sickness had seemed to go down. I was not sure if I should curse Culver’s for that or thank them. Overall, it is a very lovely place that the whole family can enjoy, and their sauces are sent from heaven.“
“Tony at Bijou catered our wedding, and I cannot say enough good things about it - the food was delicious (many people told me they ate WAY too much butternut squash ravioli), the service was perfect, and everything in the planning process was so smooth. Tony went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, that our guests with dietary restrictions were taken care of, and that above all my husband and I had a beautiful wedding day. I'd recommend Bijou catering to all of my friends, family, and acquaintances. We also love going to the tasting room/ restaurant. It's the perfect place for a nice date night out or a celebration, and I can guarantee it will be where we celebrate many anniversaries reflecting on the beautiful food Tony made for us on our wedding day.“
“A well hidden peice if nostalgia. Beautiful relaxing view off the deck. Fish fry on Thursday and Fridays. You may want to avoid dart competition in the winter gets a bit hectic. Food never disappoints, staff super friendly. The atmosphere makes you feel like family.“
“I just brought our group of science contest students here from Madison after a trip leaving from Boyceville WI. The service was impeccable and they had things together and working like a well oiled machined. I had a whole 81 passenger double Decker bus full and they were amazing. We were sure to give them an early heads up and they did not disappoint! Defintely will stop at this Eau clair location when I can with groups! The manager was on duty making everything run smoothly.“
“My wife and I stopped for lunch and ordered the Olive burger and a mushroom & swiss burger with tots and chips. My oh my the burgers and the rest of lunch was delicious for both of us. Even told the cook excellent food. Prices are great too. AAA++++. We will be back soon. The breakfast are awesome too.“
“If you're looking for a quieter bar with an older crowd, this is definitely the place to go! The bartenders are fantastic and the food is tooThe brisket and Italian beef are about as big as your head. So come hungry! Other than that, your typical bar fare with deep fried foods. The prices are well in line!! The owner is very friendly as well. I will definitely be back!!Wheelchair accessibility: It is very wheelchair friendly..“
“So, it’s been about 4 years since we’ve moved away from Eau Claire, but we will forever miss 4 Mile and their amazing fish fry. We loved the cozy atmosphere inside, the insane portions of food, the salad bar (with soups), and the excellent cocktails. The only problem I can think of is that this place isn’t a franchise. We could really use some good fish fry out here!“
“Everything was supberb. Served hot enty of cheddar biscuits. Presentation was appealing. There were 5 of us. From the lobster feast to ayce shrimp. I was not a fan of the vinegar and salt shrimp. The coconut, grilled and popcorn were delicious .side with broccoli. Our server was great adjusted to wtg on our 5 the person . Very friendly and kept the shrimp coming.“
“A friend and I went here and we got the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were delicious!! What's even better was the homemade ranch that came with them, I couldn't stop eating it. We got the Friday fish fry and it came out pretty fast for being made to order. The fish batter was really good too. I think our servers name was Jessie if I remember correctly, she was new but great and very friendly/ outgoing. The honey mustard was absolute perfection too.“
“Very cool restaurant and bar! Great server and bartenders! Fish fry was amazing. Wings and tots very good. Mojitos delicious. Greeter/hostess could be a little more flexible on larger groups and relax a bit but overall great place. We will definitely be back.“
“On a lazy Sunday afternoon, I found myself idly gazing out of my window at the patchy clouds drifting across the sky. The distant chirping of birds mixed with the faint hum of a lawnmower next door, creating a tranquil atmosphere that seemed to invite daydreaming. As I sipped my lukewarm cup of tea, I contemplated the subtle variations in the shades of green on the leaves of the potted plants on my windowsill. It was a moment of simple serenity, where the world's big concerns were momentarily forgotten in favor of the gentle, unassuming beauty of the everyday. I just LOVED this place!“
“Shift manager wasn't familiar enough with the menu to say whether the chicken nuggets were any good. Turns out they were only like warm (temperature). The crinkle cut fries in the same package, however, were superb, which helped make up for the nuggets.“
“The service was great. I got the nachos with brisket. The food was good, but for how much I paid for nachos they didn't put very much meat at all on the nachos. I been to several different locations and they're all about the same. Good food just doesn't seem like a good value for food versus how much they charge.“
“I've had drinks with friends here a few times, and this is a cool cocktail bar. But this was the first time I had dinner. The seasonal tasting menu was awesome, affordable, and featured seasonal and local ingredients. My favorites were the celery soup, trout with fingerling potatoes, short rib with polenta, and flourless chocolate torte. They also had two highly rated wines at about $10 a glass, Colossal Reserva Red Blend and Stefano Massone Gavi. I definitely recommend.Update: I feel the food really feel off in the last few years. I will try again but have been disappointed a few times. The cocktails are still great.“
“Sat at the bar so seating was immediate. Bartender was fast and friendly. This is only my second time here. By far the best sandwich I have had in a long time. He got the pulled pork with coleslaw and BBQ sauce side. I got the el Cubano. And I must say it definitely made me do some happy dances. Messy in just the right way.“
“This particular branch always amazes me. They seem to be run by high schoolers and, they are always working hard to keep customers churning through. The staff is very polite and friendly. The food is excellent as Culver's always is. This particular one has a pretty good system for drive through customers as well.“
“As always, excellent food & even better service. The waitress made sure our drinks stayed topped off and even brought each of us extra fries! The only snags was not having a clear vegan menu & some of the food wasn't fully prepared as requested (my nephew's burger wasn't cooked fully to his liking; my food was fixed perfectly!)“
“???✨??PHENOMENAL??✨???Not our first time dining here but it's been quite a while and we were floored! I had ribs and chicken and cannot believe the how good both were the ribs were some of the best I've had like I rate them right up with the best BBQ joints I've been to and the chicken was done so perfectly and with magnificent flavor the coleslaw was equally impressive and I don't even really care for the stuff but this was dang good. My wife had the bear Creek pasta and totally loved that as well. The wine and tap beer selection was another impressive attribute along with really great atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend it!!Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth flat and big doors“
“Came here for lunch today and had the beer battered fish fry. This was hands down THE BEST fish fry my husband and I’ve had. We’ve been to a lot of different establishments for Friday fish fry and The Ale House is the best. He also ordered the mushroom swiss burger which he said was one of the best he’s had. I would highly recommend coming here! Great service and atmosphere too.“
“One very awesome bartender/server handled with confidence, ease, and a pleasant sense of control, a rather large lunch crowd. He possessed a likable, positive energy that seemed to cover every person in the place. Although he was a very busy guy, the bevies were spot-on, and the food was delivered warm and tasty. Way to go!“
“First night here, was about a mile from my hotel and I needed to get my steps in. Walked in and there were only 2 other people in the bar, one of which was in deep explanation of how wild water is...so it's a regulars type of place. It's just a bar, but got a beer and the beef sandwich for 10.75, which in these days is unheard of. Great portion on the beef sandwich and the mustard is insanely good. It's just a dive bar with small menu of delicious bar food.“
