“How can you go wrong with eating somewhere where the food’s as good as the root beer?Parking: Being a drive-in restaurant as well there’s plenty of stalls to park in. If you’d like to eat outside, there’s street parking too.Kid-friendliness: Eating outside is always a good option if you have kids with your group. They always love climbing on the big Papa Bear chair!“
“The Diner in Fond du Lac delivers on its promise of a straightforward diner experience, serving up classic breakfast and lunch fare. I enjoyed a satisfying breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns - simple yet delicious. The affordable pricing and exceptionally friendly staff add to the appeal, making it an ideal spot for a hearty meal in a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone seeking quality diner classics in Fond du Lac.“
“Love their butter burgers and cheese curds. Every thing is made fresh. It's definitely worth the wait. Can't go without getting their ice cream too.Parking: Lots of spots. Spots for also waiting for your food. Labeled 1 through 5.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly there for kids and kids meals.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the door on the side of the building near the drive thru.“
“We want Culver's to completely out do McDonald's in the Midwest. We are 100% Culver's for life. Always getting our orders right & the food is delicious for a fast food joint. No complaints here. I hear they have great ice cream & a broad selection too.Parking: Just hafta hope there is enuf parking for how busy they get...but always a spot or two“
“Standard WI bar, but it's impeccably clean (even the bathrooms!). No sticky floors, door handles, tables...anything.Staff is exceptional and accommodating.Food is fantastic! Pizza is one of the best in town, cooked to order and brought to the table still hot!“
“The menu has grown over the years! There is quite a bit of seating along with outside seating during summer, but it is pretty snug at the table/booths. Overall cleanliness was lacking, but not disturbing. You order at the counter and the workers are nice. The Mac and burger was good but not bursting with flavor, however the caramelized onions were cooked very well!!“
“Plenty of seating, drive thru is slow but it's because everything but the chilli and soups are made fresh to order. Skip the drive thru when busy, it'll usually be faster and easier, probably easier for staff too.Parking: Little less parking since the coffee place opened up but generally faster than the drive thru.“
“This is our 2nd favorite bar to go to in fond du lac. My husband and I are new to Wisconsin. We moved here from salt lake city Utah almost 2 years ago. We have been in fond du lac 16 months. Top shelf and Sully's are amazing.Kid-friendliness: They have really good food“
“Went to Friar Tucks for our New Years dinner our I think her name was Anna she was prompt, courteous, polite.Got every order right, It was double bubble night tonight didn't have one drink finished she had a second one at the table that never happens usually have to ask for the second one. Can't say enough her service was excellent & should be commended for her service tonight. Happy New Year to one & all at Friar Tucks. Sincerely Kenneth with a party of 7.“
“Always good food...Parking: The Culvers we go to can be hard to park at... There is enough parking but when you try to leave there is usually the drive thru line blocking your way... and sometimes the drive thru lane is so long you have to wait to even pull into the parking lot...“
“What a great spot to bring friends or family. Food is delivered quickly, and there's a lot of care to the presentation and customer service. Even when their busy, you still get your food in under 10-15min. Waitresses are awesome! Emily, Bridget, Katie, Lori, and Tam are great! It's been completely remodeled inside and looks nothing like it used to be. Don't let the "Truck Stop" stop you from enjoying by far one of the best restaurants North Fond du Lac and Fond du Lac have to offer as far as diners are concerned. Make this your pit stop on the way up North or South depending on which way you travel.“
“Outside had me worried, must be going under renovations. Once inside, its beautiful and warm. The staff is inviting. Tables are spaced nicely so you dont bump chair with the table next to you. Drinks were brought out fast, food was great, my steak was a little over cooked, but was tender and flavorful.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, wide hallways and large bathroom stalls“
“Our food was great and Joe Jr went above and beyond service as well as hostess to accommodate my friend who ordered a Shirley Temple with extra extra , wether it was the ice, the cup or glass cup they were both patient, understanding and attentive to their customers needs. Thank you! Atmosphere was great !“
“I may be a little biased because I worked at this DQ back in the late 2000s, but this is the best DQ I've eaten at. My wife and I even ordered our wedding cake from here back in 2018. We got a heart-shaped cake decorated beautifully for the main wedding cake, with individually decorated pieces of sheet cake for the rest. It was a huge hit (except for the lactose intolerant MoH... Sorry, Amanda. ?)Overall, it was a great experience. We still go here to eat around once per month, mostly getting the chicken strip meals. The Texas toast is good enough that I will occasionally order an extra piece of toast with my chicken.“
“The first chocolate shake I got had a quarter inch of chocolate on the top and nothing mixed with vanilla at the bottom I took it back the lady sarcastically replaced it with one that was correct otherwise the rest of the food and service was “
“My wife had been talking about this place when she previously visited so I had to make sure we stopped to check it out. She was not wrong. I had a Gillie dog and the Badger Sundae. Both we're great. I usually cover my dogs in mustard, but not this time. It was great on its own. The sundae was fantastic! It had plenty of raspberries and pecans for every bite. So good. If you don't like what I had. There's plenty of options for food and desserts.“
