This visit was for a birthday and we were immediately greeted with "Happy Birthday" wishes and warm friendly faces. That sentiment continued into and throughout our meal. Our food was delicious and delightful. The service was outstanding, fun and friendly! Thank you so much for making this special occasion extra wonderful!

Great place! Great food! Would be a nice place to propose or have a romantic evening for those still into that. Pricey food but worth it. Servers are spot on.Wheelchair accessibility: Once you park, there are plenty of sidewalk ramps. The entrance has 2 doors with 2 door thresholds to wheel over- no steps.

Steak was awesome. Their far east old fashion was really really good. I would highly recommend this place. A bit on pricey side.

Republic recently did an addition but the older side needs a little upgrade. Our server was enthusiastic and did a good job, only small criticism is it didn't seem like a fine dining experience, more casual and playful server vibe you'd hope for anywhere else. The food isn't as good as when they first opened years ago but still good. Some of the sides need work and are very garlic forward, like the mushrooms and potatoes for example basically taste like garlic and I at a steak place, they should be amazing. We had 3 entrees including the salmon (excellent), the mushroom ravioli (extremely oily and gross, don't get that) and chicken adobe (succulent & chicken was good but came with a cold relish salad that was only ok). The macaroni side is delicious and I would eat that as an entree. The house zinfandel (Coppola) and cocktails were good and after dinner espresso was good. Dessert was good, and very large. Excited to eat my leftovers and overall 4/5 stars I just think with a little effort they could go back to 5 stars like when they were a newer restaurant.

We were seated right away, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was delicious! The restaurant itself was quite dark. I had mentioned when making the on-line reservation that the dinner was in part celebrating my recent birthday. Republic Chophouse had a birthday card for me and my choice of a complimentary dessert.

Our server Brian was very attentive to ur needs and made sure my wife's birthday dinner was perfect! He was also very helpful when it came to recommendations from the menu. My wife had the Moroccan lamb and it was perfectly cooked. This was our third visit. They also hand written a birthday card (not computer generated like most places) which is very thoughtful and it shows they care. My cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I were lucky enough to get a last second reservation here on Valentine’s Day . Everything was beyond perfect . The customer service was on point and our meals and drinks were fantastic. 10/10 definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Delicious! From start to finish! Coworker found this amazing restaurant and it was a hit! We had a private room in the back (apparently there are multiple private rooms) and the waitress was fantastic. The bone-in ribeye was fantastic! Large but that meant others had a taste.Tomatoes basil bisque was the perfect soup. Truly delicious!Lots of street parking and parking lots around.I’d come back for seconds, and maybe even thirds.

The texture of my ribeye steak was off, maybe overdone. Way too much dressing on my salad, turned to soup. Waiter was great. Pretty pricy for underpar food.
We had reservations for 7 we were there by 6:15 and having drinks at the bar. We were asked to sit at 6:55 which was great and it all went down hill from there. The table they had sat us down at was too small for our group? Not sure how this happens when they sent me a text the day before that I had to respond to get a confirmation! At this point they had to stand us all back up and move us to another part of the restaurant. This took about 15 mins for them to put together some labels and get us seated. From there it was roughly 7:10. We didn't order and get our drinks until 7:45-7:50! Unbelievable...From there it took another 30 to 45 just for her to return and take our order. Once we started to get our food we were really hoping it was going to turn around from there but it absolutely wasn't. I had ordered a chop salad with ranch and it came out with blue cheese on it. A couple people in our group ordered the tuna tartar and it was pretty spicy and the tuna itself was mushy. I have had excellent tuna before and this was not even close to what I would have called good. My next meal item was the "French Onion Soup" yes I put this in quotations because it wasn't real French Onion soup. It had a red tint to it and tasted like they had put some form of tomato in it??? French Onion soup doesn't have any tomatoes in it! Next the wife and I both had the rack of lamb I had mine Morroco style the wife had hers regular. These came out and had been cooked very well but were absolutely flavorless and had a char flavor to them? "Too close to the flame"? Not really sure but it gave an off putting taste to the meat. My wife's lamb was good according to her I didn't try it because I didn't like mine very much but ate it because at this point we had been sitting at the table for over two hours at this point waiting to eat and the first two things I had to eat were not good at all. By the time we left the restaurant it was after 10 p.m. most of the group was super disappointed with this entire establishment. The drinks were the best part of the entire establishment and I stopped drinking them because of the time it took to get a beverage and just wanted to avoid giving this place more money than I was already going to have to give them.

We had a reservation for 14 and were originally seated at a table for 10. We were sat 25 minutes later, outside our servers section by no fault of our own. We are patient guests. We all have worked or work in the hospitality industry. Our meal took 3 hours. For 4 courses, and dessert was “to go”, so 3 courses. When I spoke to our server asking if this was normal she said “no”. I have had 7-9 course meals in equal time. When I asked why, after already giving gratuity, she said the words “in rebuttal, you were outside my section”. There was no acknowledgment of poor service standards. Apparently, it was our fault. The food was ok. When our server was present she was entertaining. However, being thanked for my patience after 3.5 hours while waiting for my bill with my jacket on… it was too late. No compensation, no dining room manager visit, literally no apologies for anything.

Jan. 27 had dinner at Rep. Chophouse after a drive up from Wales to attend the All Canada show, to scope out some fishing resorts. 8pm bar time was very nice with Kylee as the mixologist, great old fashions. Dinner at 845pm with a tenderloin, blackened salmon, and shrimp cocktail to start things out. Steak was fantastic, wife said best salmon ever, I had a small sample and it was really good. Shrimp excellent. service from Nicole was great as well. Choclate mocha cake over the top. This place is really nice and will try another visit in future.Parking: Parked on a bank lot and walked a block to restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Appeared to be accessible
