The food was excellent. Wait staff was very attentive
it was very cozy there great service definitely will go back
Food is definitely not worth the money. Underwhelming presentation. Nothing special by any means. Super disappointed. Should have known from the start when the appetizer lacked flavor.
Went there last night for a much needed date night and it was absolutely amazing!! The service and food was wonderful all around! We will definitely be back in the future! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic evening out.
Wow, delicious! Have not dinned in but got takeout twice when we were in Green Bay. The food was delicious, I got a filet and it was cooked to perfection, nice blue cheese addition as well. Mashed potatoes were good and the mushrooms I got with my steak were fabulous!!! Got the chocolate cake and it was divine. Would go back next time I’m in GB & dine in!
Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Fantastic steaks. Interesting drinks. Everything was great except for the wait. It took a long time to get our food. Great spot for a date or business dinner
High End Bar and Restaurant located in the old downtown district (Eastside of the River) of Green Bay. I love the atmosphere and the food! Excellent wine list and specialty cocktails. I have eaten here 3 times now and have always been very happy with everything from the excellent service to the fabulous food. I will tell you that I have always ordered some type of steak each time... I'd like to try something different, but the steak has always been so good. I've heard that they have now opened an Italian place (about a block away). I'll have to try that too!
Nice atmosphere and wonderful staff. We loved somethings and didn't care for others just like any place. Given that we spent $360 for two people and we couldn't say any one thing was the best we ever had, it would be difficult to justify a return trip.We enjoyed the smoked duck, nuts, pickles, and aged cheddar cheese on the cheese plate. The aged salami had a smell and taste that we couldn't place or stomach. The tuna tartare was not to my taste, it was missing acid for me. Our bread was pretty hard, but the three whipped butter were delicious. The tomato bisque was delectable. Loved all of the flavors! The chopped salad was comparable to one you'd get anywhere. The New York Strip was juicy, thick, and cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was massive and supple. The scallops were plump, sweet, and creamy. The Waygu steak was not cooked to the temperature I asked for. Instead of medium rare, it was definitely medium well to well in places. I imagine for how thin it was, that it was difficult to get the correct temp. I still enjoyed the buttery bursts of flavor and juiciness you would expect from Waygu. While I would indulge in it again, it would not be at Republic Chophouse.Since we were beyond full by dessert, we ordered their enormous signature red velvet cake and chocolate turtle torte to go. The cake was disappointing. While large, the cream on top had a defrosted freezer burn taste to it. The cake itself was dry so the layer thickness to frosting ratio was off. My husband who loves anything with sugar or chocolate barely ate it saying it didn't need to be four layers, two max. Alternately, the chocolate torte was a fantastic chocolate indulgance. Creamy and rich with the pecans adding the perfect texture. Overall, it was an enjoyable birthday meal.
We went to Republic Chophouse as group of 14. We made reservations the night before and was able to get a table the next day. The food was great and the drinks were amazing, but the staff made the experience 10 times better. My family and I felt really welcomed and engaged. Really appreciate our server Logan for making the evening extra memorable.
We were here on Saturday we had reservations for 6:30. Highly recommend reserving your table as we were seated promptly at our reservation time. The staff was very friendly and professional. The charcuterie board, steak, fries, and salad were all delicious! Our steaks were cooked the way we requested and our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Decent selection of whiskey we each had the blue spot Irish whiskey neat. I also tried the Far East old fashioned which was just ok, the drink was made well just wasn't my preference which is why I still gave 5 stars. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you are looking to have an absolutely delicious steak and a relaxed/romantic dining experience.
My husband brought me here for my birthday and it was awesome! The oyster was fresh and our salad were delicious. My steak and my husbands fish was cooked perfectly! I got a complimentary dessert and a card for my birthday and We had to bring it home because it was too huge! Julianne was a great server! ♥️ I will definitely recommend this place!
My husband brought me here for my birthday, and it was amazing! Our appetizer and salad were delicious and fresh. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and the gouda Mac and cheese was the perfect match. We had to bring dessert home, but it too was incredible. A huge piece of moist carrot cake. Our server, John, was fast and helpful when we asked for recommendations. The atmosphere and decor made for a perfect date night.
Service was good but place is dated and food is extremely over priced and far from tasty. The cream of mushroom soup was good but other than that...Drinks were eh....will not be going back. Location is boring!
Went for my 50th birthday party and we left so so satisfied. The steak never disappoints!
Great food and service. I have been to many steak restaurants and believe me, these people are on the top.
