“The atmosphere is amazing, the service is on par. The food wasn't as good as I expected. Don't get me wrong, it was perfectly romulan, but it could have cost a bit less. The drinks are amazing, and beautifully balanced. You get flavor without being overwhelmed by alcohol.“
“Great bar with a local atmosphere.$2.75 for most light beers and $3.00 shots. Food is also reasonably priced with $10 pizzas. The bartenders are always very nice and accommodating. There's plenty of TV's if you want to catch a Packers, Bucks, Brewers, or Golden Eagles game. There is also an ATM, pull tab machine, slot machines, and pooltable.Parking: Plenty of parking around the front and side if the building.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter the building.“
“A great spot for a good meal.We arrived right at noon for lunch and the place quickly filled up around us so our server was running his butt off but kept our sodas full and kindly pointed out the basket of napkins already on our table when he was flagged over in request of more napkins because the jalapeno burger was delicious but that beer cheese WAS messy.I love perogies and all things fried but I'm still trying to decide if I liked these deep fried perogies as much as the typical...(Steamed?) Variety but they WERE good. And I got the grilled cheese (called something else I don't remember) less the tomato but added ham. Perfectly toasted melty deliciousness.“
“Went here on Friday for my birthday and it was great! Service was amazing, the chef was amazing. My food was so good. My soda was horrible it tasted watered down so I didn’t drink it but I’m still giving 5 stars. I will be returning very soon.“
“The only pre fee coursed meal I'd experienced before coming to Ardent was Thomas Keller's Per Se.... Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had. Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. Everyone cross your fingers!!!!“
“Incredibly delicious gyros, generous servings with both meat and sauce. Fast, friendly, attentive service. We were offered refills on our sodas a couple of times, checked on throughout our meal. Super cute atmosphere and vibe to the restaurant. Excellent all around, we will be back for sure!“
“This was my second time to this restaurant... I wanted to bring my husband, our two daughters and a family friend to experience Story Hill. We all loved it!! Recently, we went to Birch downtown for my husband's birthday and someone asked me which we liked better and we all agreed Story Hill BKC was a better experience and the food was better too. We really enjoyed Birch but the fun atmosphere and food is unbeatable at Story Hill. Thank you to our waitress Ann S who was great... she suggested the best dishes for our table and was very attentive and fun!“
“Kid-friendliness: It was one of the most delicious and cheesy pizzas we ordered (I don't remember its name). The children felt very free, the staff was very friendly with the children and it was an incredible vacation for us parents. The lemonade was delicious. The children could draw with pencils and make stickers that were given to them.“
“Self-serve coffee while you wait for your table. Impeccable service by the gal with the Betty Page bangs. It was our first time there and she took great care of us. Food came out fast and so fresh and delicious. Everything on the menu looks amazing so we plan to make it a regular stop when we are in town!Vegetarian options: I enjoyed the Bowl of Rejuvenation. Uncooked arugula, radish and cucumber slices, with a bit of feta, warm broccoli florets and cherry tomatoes, sofrito sauce- covered poached eggs, and a delicious warm farro-and-mushroom mix.“
“We ordered the number 3 and number 1 and they were both so delicious. They had very good spice level as well as taste. The bread was soft and warm. The meat had a great flavor and wasn't dry. The fries as well were a pleasant surprise and came with a delicious seasoning on top. I also highly recommend thier rice pudding as well.Vegetarian options: There are at least 4 vegetarian options.“
“Always a good meal here, and the customer service also. Always hot and fresh and you'll find someone to have a conversation with, it's that type of crowd whether it be sports or the weather. Oh, great prices for what you recieve too, can't wait to go back.“
“Wow! Amazing and super delicious and cheap lunch! I had the empanadas and the Colombian bandeja paisa and I had to save half because it was so much food! The beans, the rice, chicharron, Avocado, plantain, just amazing! They also give you a delicious soup when you first sit down. It was hot and so yummy! Our server Maziel was awesome and she even made my Mango juice in milk when I asked. Very great food and service. I recommend 1000%!“
“I just had the best time ever. I'm so happy that I chose to visit this restaurant on my vacation. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good food, and in particular, enjoyed the tasting menu. I was worried about doing the tasting menu as a single person, but the staff made me as comfortable as can be. It was perfect!“
“I have not had the food. I usually just go for a beer. They have a great rewards program and they always have a great beer selection, so many varieties. The staff is always friendly but today Julie, the bartender and by herself and she was busy but she was still super friendly and took great care of us.“
“The elegant and pristine palace the is the Engine Company Number three is poetic in the way of food. The atmosphere is a certain je ne sais quoi if a may be so bold. Hmmm. Which I may!! If you have yet to go treat yourself, just tell them Dan sent you. It will do nothing for you but it sounds cool to act like you know someone working there.“
“Great sports Bar, very busy so to belly up was not an option for us, non the less server was great!!! Burgers were good, a bit overcooked but that was our fault as we didn’t ask for specifics. If you are looking for a certain temp then don’t forget to ask.. would definitely come back to try and belly up here..“
“Stopped at Sobelmans after picking up relatives at the Amtrak station just down the street on St.Paul. Although the place was busy and getting busier as we walked in we got a table for the 4 four of us. Our server was very good got our drinks quickly which included a coke a light beer a red wine and the Sobelman classic bloody Mary which my companion said was excellent. We ordered onion rings as an appitizer while we looked at the menu they came very quickly and were excellent. Orders were placed for 2 cheeseburgers one for me and one for my sister and her husband who it split and I now know why and my companion ordered the The Bomb which comes with bacon, fried onions, mushrooms and Bleu cheese dressing. All the burgers are served with fries and pickles and they were very very good and after having one I understood why my relatives split there's as they are good sized burgers with plenty of fries. About the only thing to be careful about is there parking lot which is a bit small and on a steep angle next to the place but there is parking around the immediate area if you don't want to chance the hill climb.? Would I let that stop me from going here again oh hell no. Great place with great service and great food you won't be disappointed. Oh and if you like to have a beer or 2 they have a great selection.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger.“
“One of my favorite restaurants. The food was great, the server who was training and the person doing the training were both excellent and atmosphere is always amazing. One person ordered the meatloaf and I ordered the blackened salmon Caesar salad.“
“Upon entering, it appears to be a typically pub type restaurant with bar lighting and wood accents. The service was great and the food was unexpectedly some of the best! I feel like this may be a bit of a hidden gem that will knock your socks off!“
“First time here. Was recommended by some friends and we were not disappointed. Make a reservation, for 6pm and got in right away. We were the only customers at that time, and a few other tables filled up later. The waitress (Jada)did a great job of getting us seated and settled in. Gave us plenty of information about the menu and specials. Got the special Pesto Sea Bass which was amazing. Service was efficient, but we did not feel rushed. The rest of the meal was all very good.We will be back.“
“Absolutely outstanding . The service is the star . Everyone is so attentive . Sommelier and general manager goes out of his way to make you feel special . My scallop curry was delicious . Lots of special touches . Next time I'll get the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing so I can Listen to the sommelier tell about the wines!“
“Stopped in before a show at The Rave. As someone who is not used to the big city I was concerned because the surrounding area does not seem great. I am very uniformed about save and unsafe neighborhoods so I really was not sure.Let me put that to the side. I was very pleased with the warm welcome, the food, the beverage selection, and the service. I may be wrong but it seems to be a family bar and grill and everything was fantastic. I 110% recommend stopping here. I will be for all my future shows and I go to alot of them.Parking: Good size parking on the side of the building as well as street parking. I had no issue getting a spot in the lot.“
“This deli is very cool. Dimly lit a little more club atmosphere than deli but still cool. You order from a chalkboard and items very fresh. Had a cilantro and chorizo breakfast burrito that was out of this world. Huge also.Vegetarian options: There are meatless items on the menu.Parking: In CBS lot.“
“I have been going to Martino's since I was a little boy. My dad took me there when I was very young. I lived a lot closer then, however, I don't miss a chance to go now. Anytime I am in the area I will stop and get a Chicago style hot dog. It is the best I've ever had! The service is always fantastic, the people always friendly, and the food quality is second to none.“
“The food here was delicious! All farm to table and fresh ingredients. The staff was super friendly too and helped direct us to some of the best dishes. We shared a bunch of and 1/2 board, lamb carpaccio, rabbit ragout, and the pork belly. Amazing!“
“Saw this spot while driving by the area. came in for lunch. I had the MBC bloody Mary and the MCB smash burger.BM was okay. Nothing spectacular. I like a like more spice in mines.Smash Burger was on point. This is what a smash burger should be. It didn't disappoint. The fries however was plain. No seasoning. I'll definitely be back for their burgers though.“
“Odd Duck was a 5 star experience, but Olivia made it feel like a casual sit down meal where we all knew each other. Sometimes places with wonderful food can feel cold, but the energy she came with made us feel welcome and we so enjoyed every recommendation she gave!! Thank you!!“
“Breakfast was great. Good eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, omelet, and pancakes. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy working together. Decor is a bit dated, but it gives it that great family feel! My wife !and I both said we would definitely go back! I recommend you go!“
“We went to celebrate our anniversary. We received an enchanting dining experience. The host staff was warm and welcoming. Our table was ready when we arrived. Tina introduced herself and asked for our cocktail order. My wife enjoyed her Sauvignon Blanc and they made me a great Manhattan. We loved the Roasted Brussels Sprouts; Scallops and the Vegan Smoked Sweet Potato. The portions were generous and the food delicious! Although we passed on dessert, the Carrot Cake looked amazing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening!“
“In a day and age where food is subpar and customer service is lacking, First Watch Oak Creek does not fall into that category. Travis, our server, was exceptional and didn't miss a mark while displaying the eptiome of customer care! The food was fresh and delicious, consistent with all of the First Watch locations we've visited. Great job Team, please don't change!“
“Placed an order today after seeing an article about them on Facebook. I ordered a bunch of different things including cheese curds, fried bologna sandwich and their hot dish. Everything was really good and I will definitely come back to try some other menu items.“
“Pro tip, make it a double cheeseburger. On my personal three point scale, it was a 1.5/3. Elsa's is better IMO. However, super inexpensive and still very good. Good quick meal. Cheddar fries solid. I prefered the chicken sandwhich over the cheeseburger (probably because of the garlic aioli).“
“Lagniappe Brasserie has been a favorite gem of a restaurant of mine for many years. Chef Andrew Tenaglia never fails to bring fresh, locally sourced food to the table. In all the years of operation, I have have never had a bad meal and the service has always been spectaculator. I was happy to hear about and support curb-side pick up during the COVID-19 epidemic. I encourage to place an order or two to help support this local independently owned and operated area restaurant so they will be there for us in the future.“
“Full fine dining experience, minus pretentiousness. Our service was incredible and made us feel like we'd been regular patrons for years. We went on a Saturday, so we only had the option of 4 course menu (7 is reserved for weeknights, we'll definitely be back). Not only was our food and service outstanding, but the wine pairings really took this experience over the top(I believe the wine person was Jeffrey, my hearing isn't so great) if you enjoy dining, and live in Milwaukee, don't wait as long as we did to visit, it's worth experiencing!(The photo I posted was when I was nearly finished, the presentation before I messed it up was beautiful)“
“This is truly a neighborhood diner that is a local favorite spot. We went on a Saturday mid-morning for brunch, and trust me . . . We were not alone. That joint was packed. We had about a 25 minute wait which was cool. Once we got seated, we were greeted by our waitress. The wait staff is not like an ordinary staff. They are a group of people that look like they just put on whatever is clean and come to work. You really don’t know who works there as the restaurant staff look like the average customer. . , it’s kinda weird, but it works. Our waitress was awesome! We had the Buffalo chicken BLT wrap with hand cut fries and creamy coleslaw and the spicy chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips w/salsa and sour cream. The food was soooo flavorful and seasoned to perfection. It’s a very busy dish place where everyone minds their own business. Loved it!!! I will be back. This restaurant should be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.“
“Mark this place as a must go if you’re in Green Bay. The food is amazing, so is the environment. We personally enjoyed the upstairs bar area. Employees are friendly and welcoming. We also met the owner, Shawn, who was very welcoming and great to talk with about the history of the building and the city. Also, you HAVE To try his on tap old fashion that he has made from scratch, it is a fantastic drink. 10/10 recommend!“
“Excellent place for affordable dinner food. Great value for money, friendly and comfortable. I got a Turkey Dinner which was $16 and came with an incredible amount of food (bread, soup, the dinner plate itself, a small Old Milwaukee beer, and an ice cream dessert). This restaurant also has a fairly extensive Friday Fish Fry menu if you're looking for that sort of thing. I can't speak to the quality of that though.“
“I really shouldn't share this, as this is a gem on the Beer Line / Brewers Hill divide that doesn't take reservations. The food and people are both great.Parking: Park on any nearby street and walk, but don't expect to get in if you aren't in line when they open.“
“The wings, the drinks, the DJ, the staff and the weekly specials is what brings me to a new spot and keeps me coming back. This place has all of that and more. We are always greeted right away even though I see some regulars. We don’t get treated any different, the food is always hot so when I wait I know it’s because the chef is cooking it the right way.they have weekly specials like margarita Mondays, wing Wednesdays, tenderoni (chicken tenders)Thursdays, fish fry Fridays, and Saturday and Sundays are specials on micheladas and mimosas.“
“Lovely, attentive bar staff. Sandwiches were perfect as was chicken quesadilla. They had La Crema wine by the glass, I appreciated that. My sister loved her muddled brandy old fashioned. Perfect casual place for our girls night out. I drive 15 miles to meet up there. Well worth the driveVegetarian options: Wish there was a nice homemade black bean burger“
“We're from Chicago and this place had some pretty decent stuff. We had the Polish, Gyro, and a sub. Everything was fresh. Polish and Gyro were just like what we'd get in the city....the sub was just okay and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Overall will be back the next time we're in town.“
“The food is really good. The prices are a little high, yes. I consider that for a special date it is a suitable place, there is a parking lot on the street on one side that is public since it is a public street. The staff is too friendly and all their plants are pretty by the way.“
“We’ve been coming to this location for about 10 years and tonight was by far the best service we’ve ever had! Sam knew it was our anniversary offered us a complementary glass of champagne to celebrate! She was very attentive. She brought tastings for the wine of the month to our table and cleared away and packed up our leftovers. She was very attentive the entire meal. My husbands steak came out overcooked and she noticed immediately when she popped over for a table check. She took it away to be remade and sent her manager, Rebecca, over who offered us a dessert for the inconvenience.“
“Great meal, awesome convenient location, very clean, customer service was outstanding. We ordered a lot because everything sounded delicious, and everything was delicious. There was no wait when we arrived, but this location gets pretty busy. The crepes are a must, and the potatoes were perfectly done. The menu is digital, so please come with a charged phone.“
“Beautiful setup which is part of the Wisconsin way of restoring old utility buildings into eateries. Fair prices and modern fares will welcome you. Setup is about different than traditional restaurants but it does not take away from the experience.“
“Traveling from Cincy to Wisconsin & picked a highly rated family restaurant!!Busy lunch crowd for superb food?I chose a salmon sandwich w/lemon aoli & a delicious bowl of New England Clam Chowder, made from scratch!! Service is very attentive, lovely greeter & pleasant “
“Food and service were phenomenal. We had the brussel sprout appetizer which was deep fried with honey and pistachio which was slightly too oily. For the entrees; the steak was perfectly cooked and I couldn't get enough of the poule with herbs and house made Cesar dressing. My wife got the duck entree, which was cooked medium rare, kept its gamey flavor while capitalizing on the fat with a veggie puree backdrop. The suggested cocktails for each entree were excellent and paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered. We capped off the evening with the bread cheese dessert and split a tawny port. Awesome experience overall, and on Valentine's Day to boot! An absolute gem on the east side. Upscale protein at mid range prices. If you're in Milwaukee, make your way to The Original!“
“Our Hotel's Bar & Grill was closed (on a Saturday), so we traveled a block away to the Final Approach. Amanda was fantastic behind the bar, and very friendly!! It was the piano players 70th birthday. The music was an absolute treat!! Thank you for the great experience!!“
“We ate here on 3/9. The food, cocktails and the service were amazing. Knocking a star off for the hostess who told us we needed to be out of there by a certain time. The kitchen got backed up so courses were coming out a little slow. This normally doesn’t bother me but since the hostess told us when we had to be gone, it ruined my ability to enjoy the entree and dessert as I was worried about getting out of there on time. It shouldn’t be something the hostess puts onto the patrons. It was our first time there and I am not sure about returning.“
“For a chain breakfast restaurant, it was very good. The service was attentive and speedy, especially considering it was a busy Sunday morning. We had the biscuit and gravy, the works omelette and the farmhouse skillet. They all looked great, with fresh ingredients and were cooked perfectly. We especially liked the avocado, eggs, and potatoes in the skillet. It was very balanced both in texture and taste. The mocha mint iced coffee was a great finishing dessert. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely return in the future.“
