Went there today for the first time as a family member had made a holiday reservation- the restaurant looked nice enough- but it was advertised as an Easter brunch buffet and there was definitely no buffet, which was the first disappointment. After waiting awhile, we asked a passing waitress about food, and that’s when they said they’d have someone bring it out. Awhile later, a cart was rolled out and they dispensed large serving plates with a few different foods. It was an odd spread… And the busy waitress seemed nice, but we hardly saw her or the other staff once the food dropped off… Guess they don’t need to provide much service when the gratuity is automatically added onto every reservation, which has to be prepaid. The rolls were dry with a funny taste and seemed stale, the cranberries were super tart, the green beans were clearly out of a can and had no flavoring, the ham was rubbery and biting into the fried chicken was like downing a full container of salt and grease. The sausages were okay but the sauerkraut turned my stomach as well. The only decent thing was the salad. Yet I had a little bit of each dish out of hunger. Towards the end of the meal I had stabbing stomach pains and was so sick I threw up in the bathroom twice (among other reactions). Its sickening that it was so expensive (around 30$ per person), just for the terrible experience.

The chicken is salty. The green beans are canned. I threw up in the bathroom. The rolls are dry and taste old. Cranberries too tart. They false advertised saying it was a buffet but it's more like a family dinner... i feel absolutely sick...

This place might have a couple good deals and food is decent. But the manager/owner Frank is extremely racist. I am an african American, and I was referred by my Caucasian friend who worked there for about a year. I got hired by a great manager named David. He was very nice and kind. But back to the racist guy named Frank. I was getting trained by a server named Robin. I was literally doing most of the work because I have lots of experience in serving. I was doing so good that 3 of her tables passed me money under the table and said "here this is for you, not her." But since they were paying me 8 dollars an hour and I'm a good person I have all the money to her. So as I'm taking care of the tables and bringing them boxes I felt him starring at me in a mean way literally the who day. Then he finally came up to me and said" hey this isn't gonna work" he didn't even give me a reason. Then late that day my friend told me that the other black guy only lasted 2 days. And there were literally no black workers besides myself that day. Some people there are genuinely nice people. But I believe Rob is truly racist, mean, and inconsiderate because he could not even give me a reason. When I asked why he said "just clock out and go home". Leaving me embarrassed and confused on what I did wrong as a server and as an employee. Frank does not want African Americans anywhere near his establishment for no reason what so ever. There's no reason or explanation that can justify the way I was wrongly fired and treated at this place. I really liked everyone and everything else at this place besides the fact that servers( when making salads and bread) and cooks(when cooking /after eating) don't wear gloves at all which is not right for elderly people to get treated that way as well. I wish the place the best of luck and I hope they enforce cleaner cooking rules and a more diverse staff and less racism.

I haven’t ordered from Meyer’s in quite a while, but I’m so glad I did today….. we ordered takeout lunch. I had the baked cod dinner with parsley boiled potatoes, and my husband had the fried cod dinner with potato pancakes. (they give 2!) comes with coleslaw and rye bread. The fish, both baked and fried was one of the best fish frys we’ve had in a long time! Meyer’s restaurant will definitely be my go to for Friday fish frys!

Food was great. They had a nice show of bag pipers and Irish dancers for Saint paddy's day. The food is excellent the bar is amazing they made my drink wrong I went up and mentioned it and they made me a new one without hesitation. Food is very affordable and well priced. Great quality of food. The place really is a hidden gem.

Good food, excellent soups!! Nice bar/lounge area, dining room & halls. Friendly, helpful staff. Been here several times throughout the years for breakfast, lunch & supper. They accommodate for larger groups too. Tonight we stopped for supper & it was very good once again!

Menu doesn't say what times you are able to order certain food. Server didn't seem to know much of anything about the food

After my father's funeral we invited everyone to dinner here. Service was fantastic as we waited for part of our group to show up they made sure we were comfortable. The food, OMG the food was delicious! We had the chicken and pork roast. They are known for their chicken, but that was an excellent pork roast! Everyone was full and happy! Highly recommend the cheesecake for desert too! Have your next gathering at Meyers, you won't be disappointed.

I booked a luncheon for after a funeral. I spoke to David who helped me to set this up. Once at the restaurant Vicky F. worked with me to let her know when I believed all guests had arrived. Food was served family style and all very delicious. We did have a guest that is gluten free and they were able to accommodate. Vicky was very attentive and helpful during our luncheon.
