“Service and vibe, this place has both and more, we felt like I stepped back in time. I rarely order prime rib and stick with traditional steak cuts but this prime rib was excellent. My girl had the bacon wrapped filet cooked perfect. Creamed spinach yes please, mash potatoes excellent. “I highly recommend eating here when visiting the Milwaukee public market! It's in the corner of the market with seating next to the restaurant and open seating upstairs.We got the lobster roll with a side of coleslaw and fries, and a clam chowder as well.The lobster roll came with a buttery bun and extremely fresh and flavorful lobster fillings. The side of fries and coleslaw paired really well with this entree and the clam chowder warmed us up from the cold weather outside.The food came out fast as we ordered takeout and sat upstairs with open seating. I would definitely come here again to try more of their entrees!“

“Someone in the reviews prior was talking about how this place is a hidden job with such wonderful food so I had to try it out. Wow. The Philly cheese is sooo delicious! Wings were hands down the best I’ve had yet in this area. Such fair prices too with large portions. Many spots in the area cost more, have less quality, and up charge using inflation excuses. This is not one of them. I can’t wait to go back.“

“I grabbed a hot cheeseburger and fries and an olde tyme pink lemonade on New years Day. The staff was friendly and quick to help me. My food was made fresh, ready to go within 8 minutes and less than $14 for a combo meal. Absolutely delicious, and I'll be back to try the fish soon.“

“Maxie’s is one of our favorite happy hour or dinner spots. Drinks are top notch, oysters are as fresh as can be, food is authentic and homemade. I have yet to experience a host, bartender, or server who. Was not 100% friendly, happy, helpful, and fun! I cannot recommend this place enough! In fact, we usually take some extra gumbo to-go after dinner to enjoy for lunch the next day!“

“All dishes are good. I tried lomo salteado(beef with fries and white rice) i did arroz con pollo(chicken with cilantro rice) fried rice with chicken and egg. The fish ceviche its good while u like raw fish and they add sweet potato to it which i never thought i would like with lime juice but its good. I tried one empanada peruana and one columbiana y liked the peruana better. I would be returning here. Prices used to be lower but the flavor is really good so its worth the price. For a group of 5 ppl it was $140.“

“Was blown away by this place. It looks like something you'd pass 9 out of 10 times, but that 1 time you go in will be so worth it. The food was absolutely amazing - carbonara was crazy flavorful but not overly heavy, bolognese was phenomenal, mussels had an unbelievable broth and the canolis were perfect and not overly sweet. And our server Isabela was one of the best we've ever had. Amazing place that I'd recommend to anyone.“

“This was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. We started with the tuna tartar which was perfection. Then my husband got a steak and I got fish. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We decided to do the trio of sides to share. I highly recommend doing this as we got a hearty portion of each side and it was nice to be able to try a few options. The service was impeccable. Lots of TVs, packed house, our servers seemed cool under pressure though and the upstairs had the game volume on.Food was good, tried a lot of different things and bartender was a little hammered but he seemed like he was still on top of his game lol.“

We arrived before the dinner menu so we had the breakfast which they serve late. A little disappointed at first but then started looking at the menu and there are a LOT of tasty sounding options I've never seen before. I went with the Al Pastor omelette because I love pork and pineapple! My friend had something I was looking at too. My friend also asked for banana pancakes which they brought as well. The drink menu looks awesome too but we were riding so that was a no go on drinks! But I would recommend highly as a stop for food and ambiance!“

“Ordered for pickup last night (12 pc chicken with fries annd extra slaw, two bags of cookies annd bottle of hot sauce) and the food was delicious, staff was exceptionally polite and service was great. Everything was in one bag and made it simple for me to grab and go. Initially I called and they said it would be ready in only 20 minutes but I got it in 13 and a half minutes which was quick. The guy was also answering the phone the whole time I was waiting in the lobby taking calls back to back and writing and he was polite to everyone who called and got there orders put out chronologically and timely manner. Will definitely come back again. Not sure what the other bad reviews are about, seems like they just have a lot of haters because they actually have good food and good service!!“

“This was my third or fourth time going to see China Lights. All the exhibits were new this year and I was blown away by how beautiful they were and how much more was there to enjoy. The animation and lighting was so detailed and there were so many more interactive things for the children to do. I was especially fascinated by the Rock Man who looked like a big boulder and unfolded into a huge transformer who talked and moved. One of the most beautiful moments for me was looking over the area where the path zigzagged back and forth and saw all these delicate lights waving back and forth in the breeze like a fairyland.“

“4th Base is a unique Wisconsin experience that that first opened in 1977 and was featured in 1989’s movie ‘Major League.’ Essentially it is a sports bar where the range of food offered goes way beyond typical ‘bar food’ to include things like pistachio encrusted salmon, king crab legs, or a true tenderloin steak sandwich. The jalapeño poppers are made fresh and are the best anywhere as are the hand dipped chicken tenders. While there is an on-wall ‘specials’ bulletin, there is no official menu at 4th base: they will make anything you desire.How it works: there is a ‘protein case’ where you can see all the different fresh fare incl. chicken, seafood, pork loin, & steaks and choose what looks best to you. “Always a good place to eat. Their food is good, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the service is ok. I ordered a coke and came in a glass bottle room temperature. The waiter didn't bring it cold or ask me if I wanted a glass with ice. Other than that, it's a good restaurant.“

“Always great food, a ton of options to choose from. The sushi comes with the buffet, and is made fresh in front of you, you just add as much to your plate as you'd like. The buffet area has dozens of flavorful options, and is always quickly re-stocked. (Picture a typical Chinese buffet). The prices, especially for the lunch buffet, are an incredible bargain. Never had a bad experience, and never walked away without being absolutely stuffed with food! Highly highly recommend this place.“

I was definitely fooled.I started with the Beef King Dumpling as an appetizer and ordered the Spicy Squid Pork Belly as the main.
