“We had wanted to try the fish fry for a long time and finally made plans to go. I appreciate the fact they take reservations on a Friday, for even 2 people! We both ordered the fish fry, had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The food was very good. The value for the portion, fantastic. The small dining room did get kind of loud, it was fine for the 2 of us, but if we were going out with another couple to, "catch up," conversation at times would have been a little difficult without having to talk really loud, that said, we will definitely return.”

“This was my first time there. It's in a small strip mall and i wasn't expecting much as far as atmosphere, but its clean and surprisingly warm and cozy with nice decor. Bartender was friendly and sevice was great. I ordered the La Cabana Alambre and it was delicious. Probably one of the best, if not the best Mexican meals I've ever had. I will definitely be back!”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants when I want a cozy vibe and good food. Things are pricey but they do have but one entree get one free which ends up equaling out to what you usually pay at a restaurant. One of the Friday fish fry entrees is all you can eat (but it's not included in the but one get one) dessert also is buy one get one free. The servers are attentive and friendly. I love this restaurant especially around Christmas as they deck out the entire place. If you haven't ever been here or it on your "want to go" lists. I would just say if weather is bad, take care or rethink the day, as Friess Rd. can be very slippery.”

“I had never been here before but members of our group of seven have been here for dinners and other occasions. This was not the typical dining experience since it was Easter brunch. The place was packed but the friendly staff did a great job keeping things moving . The buffet was kept well stocked. The Bloody Mary was very good and came with a deviled egg. The selection of food was very good and the quality was also good. The German potato salad was excellent, as was the smoked salmon. The glazed waffles were incredible. The price for the buffet was reasonable $37. A bonus was the great view from the dining room. It would nice to return in summer for a dinner and to dine outside.”

“Stopped in for the first time yesterday. Had read the menu beforehand so we kind of knew what we wanted when we walked in.Ordered one original Doner Kebab with the herb sauce and one Doner wrap with the spicey sauce, both were Beef and all the toppings. Ordered to go and ate at home. We were very impressed with both of them. Very hearty meal and tasted absolutely fantastic. “We lucked out when our local 'favorite' coffee shop wasn't able to serve food this morning. We now have another favorite to add to our list! We didn't ask from where their coffee was sourced, but it was some of the best we've ever had. I've always preferred plenty of cream in mine, but it smelled so good I drank it all without much cream at all!! What a great 'find!' The people, coffee, food, atmosphere all made this place a must go-to in the future. All this & yet they top it off with kind, fully capable staff that includes people with all abilities. Can't wait to go back!Parking: Right in front of the coffee shop.”

“The Stillery has a great, varied app menu. We usually get burgers, cubanos and buffalo chicken wraps. They've all been great. Expect a wait for carryout unless you do the Fish Fry Fastlane, pull up and order, fish dinner in under 10 minutes! Inside can be a little loud, they pull in a crowd most nights.”

There is normally a line that goes out the door and I understand why. If there is no line, I recommend ordering as much as you can and enjoying it. Worth the stop and a wait in line.”

To us it tasted like pineapple instead of watermelon. How do they do that! So yummy.For dinner, we all got different entrees, ranging from Chicken & Waffle Salad, to the Salt Roasted Beet Salad (mine). Everyone was raving about their selections.We didn't have room for dessert, but because it was a birthday, they offered a complimentary Creme Brulee. I have had plenty of CBs, but one seemed especially good. Was there some spice/seasoning along with the caramelized sugar?What a great restaurant find! We will be back.My only "small" complaint is that the open dining room could be a bit loud at time. (Lots of people have good times)”

“"the" Kitchen in Sussex, is a hidden gem. I am hesitant to review it publicly because it may lose its small town diner feel.I have been here 2x, both times for breakfast. Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.”
