The Oriental Inn has been a part of my primary picks in Kenosha, since I returned home from the marines back in 1989. Willie and his family have provided the best in homemade Chinese cuisine to Kenosha for several decades, being one of the first and oldest restaurants on the lakefront! If you haven't experienced it for yourself, do yourself a favor and get down there and see just what makes this jewel of the lakefront so special ?
I am so sad that they may not be there in a year. It is the only real sit down Chinese restaurant in town. The food is really good too. It is a lot better than any of the shopping strip Chinese restaurants.
This place was absolutely packed. They had literally 20+ to go orders and every table was full. It took about 2 hours to get our meal. The food was delicious, the server was very friendly. They were getting orders out as fast as they possibly could, but I just don't really understand why they kept seating guests when they could barely keep up with the guests they already had. We had both else to do, so it was fine to sit for 3 hours at this place before finishing our meL, but...read full review
