Lake Geneva (although I do enjoy my time spent there) can be an overly dry, pretentious place. Savoy was lovely, and that was due to our wonderful server and food. Menu changes regularly, but we had a steak, a scallop and a duck entrée (duck was not gamey, tender and absolutely delicious). Savoy is conveniently located - a five minute walk from Mars Resort. We had heard so many things about Mars but not that the wait would be ridiculous! So we were actually very happy to have found that Savoy was close by and offered good food. We started with cocktails. I ordered the Spicy Margarita. Apparently it was recently added to the menu. Amazing pork dish. The pork chop itself was cooked perfectly but the real star was the Butternut squash and Brussel sprouts. Like vegetable candy. My fiancé could not stop eating it. His filet was also very good but the pork stole the show. The kofta was good but the cottage cheese dill rolls were so worth the carbs! Ecstatic to have found somewhere my guy will go in Lake Geneva besides Gino's East. Will certainly return! Also... cannot beat that view at sunset!
