My wife and I celebrated Valentines the day after. Five star ( caviar )

We both work evenings so we decided to try and celebrate Valentine’s Day one day early. First off, the fact that a restaurant this good allows reservations after 9pm is amazing. This is surprisingly harder to find in Madison. When you work until 8:30 P.M getting to a restaurant before 9pm is challenging and feels rushed. So our 9:15 time was perfect. Our entire experience was incredible. Wonderful service, amazing food, and

One of the best Italian meals I have had in several years, and I live in a town with some great Italian spots. Artichoke hearts prepared like calamari with a crispy tempura-style fry; sautéed foraged mushrooms; a great salad with a wide variety of greens; some fine focaccia and pasta; and a nice selection of amaro-influenced cocktails.

Location can't be beat for Overture Center performance attendees. However it took a while to get our food (despite having alerted our server that we had to be finished in 1.5 hrs in order to get to the performance). The restaurant is quite noisy - had a hard time hearing others at our four-person table.Dietary restrictions: very attentive to needs

Another "all about the atmosphere" spot, but the food is good here. I recommend the cheese plate. What I can't get over and I see it at a number of Italian places is the small amounts of bread. Being from the east coast... it boogles the mind.

My friends and I like to come when we attend a performance at Overture. The noise level has gotten so high that we are unable to visit . We are looking for a different pre-event location that will satisfy our desire for both good food and good conversation.
Cento made my 21st birthday incredibly special! Food and service were amazing, Annika went above and beyond for me and all the chefs behind the scenes. I have been to Cento many times before, but somehow it was even better tonight!Dietary restrictions: Incredibly accommodating with any dietary restrictions. Gluten-free pizza crust and pasta were available to sub for most of the dishes. They made sure any allergies were known and avoided.
The atmosphere and staff are great but the entrees are way too expensive for what you receive. I had the scallop dinner with polenta and received 4 small, overly salted scallops with broccolini stems, no florets, for around 34 $'s. Pasta dish was ok but also overpriced. The sausage in the dish was broken up into tiny pieces at the bottom on the dish and flavors were nothing special. Have to pay extra for bread and salad.
