Good bagels in Madison. The bagel sandwiches are a bit pricey for the amount of toppings, but they are pretty good quality and fresh. They have lots of cream cheese flavor options. They recently reopened the dining room so you can eat in the restaurant again.

Bagels aren’t usually the most exciting or impressive baked good, however the passion that Joey Bagels puts into his creations is evident. The care and love that goes into the handmade bagel and in your face flavors that work well are surely not something you can miss. The atmosphere is very reminiscent of a New York bakery. Had # 3 lox, omg to die for bagel! Topped on the best onion bagel & jalapeño cream cheese. So many options! My date had #17 cornbeef on everything bagel he couldn’t decide which he liked better, the beef or bagel. So fresh, SO GOOD. The hand squeried orange juice is a must. If they served alcohol, he never get us to leave! Joked with owner, I call him sweetheart! The cute kid taking order was as much fun. All this on a busy Sunday morning.
