Best Thai food ever had!!!Absolutely delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is also very good for dating and hangout with friends, the staff are super friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back!We ordered pineapple curry with tofu, Kra Prow Moo Krob (crispy pork, recommended by the staff, super tasty!!), satay chicken, Thai ice tea and limenade. Everything is yummy. You can also customize the spicy level from 1-5.

Didn't eat there, but was using the adjacent bathroom and witnessed a male worker from this restaurant use the bathroom facilities and DIDN'T wash hands!

We have been Thai Basil enthusiasts for 15+ years. We’re disappointed with recent changes. Portion sizes have substantially decreased over the last year and at the same time, prices have risen. While we understand and empathize with the economic impact on small businesses, portions continue to shrink each time we order, which at one point was biweekly. I’m hesitant to continue our patronage and it breaks my heart.I share my feedback because Thai Basil was once an amazing win for our neighborhood and though we cheer for their growth, we wish for the old days with fair prices and adequate portions.

Tasty food, great selection, true spiciness (1-5). So glad we went... and will be back. Also, nice it's not 'fusion' of different Asian foods (no sushi, etc). That's getting

Thai Basil has moved out of its westside strip mall to reveal its fabulousness at a new University Ave. dine-in spot. The food is wonderful as always, presented not in the former plastic takeaway counter but on a plate with colorful explosions of colors, aroma, and taste. I love the tom yum kha here, with its touch of tomatos. Thai basil with chicken was top notch! Love the vibe of the space with the open kitchen and rattan pendant lighting. Maybe perhaps some traditional Thai music? So glad to have this place in Madison!

Ordered the Khao Mun Gai and the Kra Prow Moo Krob. Both were really flavorful. The peanut sauce for the former was super tasty. The pork belly of the latter was crunchy and a bit spicy.

Really cute spot with good food and vibes! I got the khao moo dang, which was really good. The sauce was a bit sweet, which I was not expecting, but that was on me for not reading up on it before ordering.

I visited for a pickup order, but we ended up waiting nearly 45 minutes, which wouldn't have been an issue if they had accurately informed me about the wait time.Unfortunately, they had promised a maximum wait time of 20-25 minutes while placing the order. To make matters worse, when I got home, the chicken dish I received was swimming in oil, which was quite disappointing in terms of quality.
