I came in late, hungry and cold and alone but despite eating alone it felt like a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be back.Great music for relaxing and talking.

I suppose I should state that hipster stuff annoys me a bit, so yeah... probably should take my review with a grain of salt.None the less, I've had the Bob's Bad Breath burger several times here. Wasn't the greatest this past time. Dry. Not super flavorful.Salad was really good.Staff was doing exactly what they do. Being hipsters, but serving food with a smile and helpful.

I loved the vegan Reuben and the potato salad was amazing! It was just a tad too dark in there such that I could hardly read the menu. We got the south of the border anack plate which had like a pea size amount of guac, and the chips were broken into a lot of pieces and a bit stale so it seemed like it was the end of a batch that they didn't want to throw away. The server was a young guy and was talking a lot with one co worker directly in front of customers instead of doing tasks/checking on tables which I found unprofessional and tacky.

Great food, but . . . the coleslaw?Start with the good. Brought an out of town friend for dinner. He had the cowboy steak. Good, as were the mashed potatoes and green beans. Two of us had grilled walleye, it was the special that night. The fish was wonderful. And the poblano tartar sauce is excellent, a real standout. But the coleslaw, it seemed like it was an afterthought. "Next to nothing" describes it best. Really surprised us because the food here is typically very good. Clearly needs some attention.Service was good and attentive. We'll return.

I enjoyed the Weary Traveler! The ambiance was absolutely amazing; I loved looking at all of the art on the walls, and the vibes inside were great. We were seated by the live music, which was lovely. The West of the Andes Sandwich was alright; it was flavorful but quite chewy. I also got a poppyseed dessert, but it was fairly dry and took a while to come out. Our server was quite nice but a little scattered.Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend it to fellow weary travelers.

Nice space. Waiter was as expected. We ordered the goulash and the flavors were nice but it was mostly broth. I would have liked more vegetables and meat chunks in the soup itself. I would still go back, though. I loved the art on the walls, and the menu itself had some appealing options, including vegetarian and vegan ones. The restaurant itself wasn't too crowded or noisy, which I liked.

When you first walk in you go through a little bit of a maze, and then well greeted. The bartender that we had was a little bit self preserved in the beginning, and by the end was so great to be around. Jeremy was an absolute blast at his story telling and sharing with us his personality and his great service. Another staff member shared about the history of the bar and the items that were in there. Jeremy really impressed me with how he knew whom the regulars were, and knew their drink orders and their personalities. The staff was very friendly to each other and to the community people that they served. Definitely would love to be back again and highly recommend if you are a local in the community.Parking: We had to walk a couple blocks to get to the restaurant from where we parked. You are in a college town atmosphere.

Sure had what this weary cat was longing. Very very chill vibe, funkin bumping Buddha Bounce grooves and some really tasty small plates. Purrfect date night, um for my squish..

Great place to bring a date, not sure if they take reservations, but I'd check next time or come at a less busy time of day. Waited over an hour cause it was so packed. But I would come

We enjoyed lunch and the atmosphere certainly. The service was friendly and engaging. The picture of Billy Boyd playing Woody Guthrie's machine that kills fascists was lovely. I would eat 2nd breakfast there again.

The bad breath burger is easily my favorite burger in the Madison area. We also ALWAYS get the bacon potato salad. The restaurant and bar are beautiful and the staff are kind, friendly, and willing to accommodate.Overall, a great pub experience.

Service was ridiculously slow. Arrived 5:15. Seated almost right away. Server was poorly trained and struggled to take out order. Good arrived at 6:30 cold. Ordered prime rib medium rare and it was cooked medium well. The Reuben looked thrown on the plate. The soup was cold. Won’t be returning.
