This is a familiar small town, small family, small business place here in Manitowoc. Attached to a small grocery store, you might stop in for lunch or dinner and then pick up some fresh vegetables next door! They accept cards and currently require at least a $5 total purchase . Mexican candy, spices, herbs, meats, snacks and drinks of all kind (alcohol is beer only at the store). We wanted authentic Mexican food, and this restaurant was pretty close to authentic. The waitress was a bit shy, but helpful and attentive. The decorations were definitely authentic Mexican. The food was good, but not amazing, but we only got chorizo tacos and mole enchiladas. The restaurant wasn't overly clean or tidy.

Excellent! Place was very clean and organized, staff was very friendly, waitress had a lot of attention to detail all the time. Food was authentic Mexican and awesome! The enchiladas suizas were very savory, well seasoned, had enough chicken inside and lots of salsa verde on top. Beans were delicious, nicely topped with cheese and rice was on point. I also ordered a Prepared Michelada and it was quite generous and an amazing taste. Most absolutely coming back!!
