“First came here when they first came into business and I wasn't impressed with the food being like straight out of a package. Now the food tastes and looks like it is all hand made. I really like the desert options and I especially like the Seafood enchilada that I don't believe a person can't get in mnay places. It has crab and I think Shimp. All dishes there, you get a Taco with the works.Kid-friendliness: Good for an authentic Mexican Experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Very well suited for it.”

“It's often hard to find a good latte in and around the small towns of Wisconsin but you can find it at The Open Door. The service is always welcoming and prompt. plenty of space if you decide to have your beverage in house or take a stroll by the water nearby. Food is available, pastries and other snacks as well. Bulk coffee can be purchased too. Hot or Iced grab that coffee at the Open Door next time you are in Mayville!”

“4 of us came from Madison to experience the Friday Fish Fry. We each got the Fisherman's platter. The amount of food that you got was enough to share with another person! The best sides were the potatoe pancakes and the German potatoe salad. Very good old fashioned! Service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back!”

The food was fantastic ( order small for yourself if you have little kids cause you will have leftovers). If there's room for sweets and desserts, try the apple cinnamon wonton wraps. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu. And if you don't get there in the cold season for their chili, be sure to get there during late summer for the cheesy kohlrabi soup. “I was here for the New Years buffet. It was awesome! The prime rib was so tender I cut it with a bitter knife and very tasty.The jumbo breaded shrimp was perfect. The broasted chicken was very moist and tasty. The salad bar was a nice size. The green beans were perfect. Plus there was too much food for me to try. I will be back!”
