“6 of us,, 3 Ordered the chicken Alfredo it's the Thursday special however its not on the in house menu, it was good,2 Ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich,was very dry, menu said served with aujus however the menu isn't updated so no aujus.1 Ordered a burger it was OK, it took one hour to get our order.This is another one of those are you a bar or a restaurant? I would like to try other food options but need an updated menu, maybe they could just make prints off the one on the internet for in house?? Maybe precook some items so it doesn't take as long to get the food out. Pricey.Same music and TV scene over and over and over. Might be back???”

“We were there for a ski weekend. Stones throw from our Ab&b. First night had a great time at the friendly small town local bar. The second night sampled the food and experienced a great time closing down the bar with the awesome staff and locals. It's definitely a place to revisit.”

“My Husband and I chose the Old School House to host our wedding reception for about 140 guests and it could not have been a more perfect day. The owner Kristin and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was nothing short of amazing. Kristin was very responsive to questions and requests all through the planning process. She was very flexible and fantastic to work with, especially a bride that had a ton of questions! This venue included a cute bridal suite for my husband and I to spend the night in. There is also a huge renovated barn to rent as additional sleeping/stay for guests. My family rented this and the place was so cool and just a short walk to get to from the venue. The Old School House is so unique and historic. We received so many compliments from our guests that we chose such a neat place to get married. Kristin and her staff had the venue set up for us just how we wanted it and had planted flowers and freshened up the landscaping just in time for our big day. It was beautiful. There is a room downstairs for the ladies to get ready and the red caboose outside for the guys to get ready. Our guests loved walking around the property and finding so many cool spots to hang out and explore. There is also a little game room and playset for kids to enjoy. We also had late night pizza come out for our guests and everyone LOVED it! It was handmade there by the staff and it was delicious! Fully stocked bar and awesome bartenders that worked their butts off! Devil's Head Resort is just down the road for guests to stay as well. I could not recommend this venue enough for your next event - you won't be disappointed!”

“I am in Baraboo for a few weeks I am trying to visit all the local shops thst have been recommended. This coffee shop is on the square. Bright esthetic with a slightly macabre twist. I had my latte for here, not to go. The glass large cup was a delightful throw back. If you are ever in Baraboo ypu must stop by. I would love the sweatshirt logo an a v neck shirt. Food was not rated, I did not have any.”

“What a fantastic learning and wine tasting experience, I recommend the wine tour to understand more the process of wine making. My wife and I spent 2 1/2 hours drinking and eating the delicious cheese and snacks and spirits they had to offer. The staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful. The scenery is as beautiful as you can get.”

“My hubby and I recently got the chance to go to this cute little wine shop in the middle of the quaint village of Baraboo. With so many wineries to choose from, we are so happy that we chose this one. We opted for the 4 course wine and food pairing and also got to sample their other delicious fruit wines and let me tell you... If we did not have a weight restriction going home to Belgium, we would have bought a bottle of each of them. They are all super delicious and could each function as a dessert or regular wine. Also, the owner, Kenn, is just a delight to talk to and be guided by. You can tell this winery is his passion and it shows through his warmth, his knowledge, his hospitality and his enthusiasm. If you are hesitating whether to go here, don't! And make sure you have some room in your vehicle for all the wine you will be buying. (P.s. the old fashioneds he makes are out of this world! And the premix is available for sale. Of course we bought one. Highly recommend that as well!)”

“We had a party of 8 for 6:00pm and we showed up early and they still sat us. We originally thought we were getting a regular table but they sat us in a separate room which we didn't mind at all just didn't expect. Service was terrific and fast everyone was so welcoming our server destiny was amazing and being our first time here coming from Illinois we really appreciated the service we got. “Stopped in last night, to see a couple of former Dells Bar Keeps and on their recommendation to stop in Dustin Lauren Thank you for the Awesome service along with your super knowledge of your 8 page beer menu (wowzers was it really 8 pages? excellent detail describing the beers) and your food menu as well, normally as a 1st time customer I would have been a bit overwhelmed by the extensive beer menu, but a quick couple of questions by me and them, 3 1 ounce samples and they had me honed right in and hit it dead on the spot, at first seeing no head on the beer, I was thinking flat? but no not at all, perfect amount of carbonation in each of the beers that I enjoyed, and I didn't feel "beer full" at allthoroughly enjoyed each of the samples of beer along with the taps I ordered the Trepidation, Bee’s Knees, Sauk Ness Monster, Woodshed and the Dedication Abbey 'Extra' Dubbel, each of them excellent beers with great flavor, depth with the perfect body (loved the names made me laugh a couple of times with the tongue in cheek names)so time for Dinner Dustin's knowledge of the food menu also spot on, I ordered the Bangers and Colcannon, again hesitant to order mashed potatoes at a restaurant, as normally barely edible, not the case here at all, the bangers (we call them brats) had a prefect snap to them with great fresh flavor and the colcannon a mix of mashed potatoes (1st time ever at a restaurant Great Fresh mashed potatoes) and cabbage and then a nice gravy all hit the spot perfectlylooking at the menu, I will have to get back there at least 4 or 5 more times Lauren had recommended the Orange Sesame Ahi Salad which what I was going to order, then switched to the Bangers, sitting at the bar other patrons were ordering the Nachos which look awesome as did the wraps, the mac and cheese and burgers, were all items I will need to get back forprices were reasonable for the quality of the beers, food and the establishment itself, which is a great atmosphere and a great view of the Wisconsin River for those that want to bird watch while enjoying some great beers food and serviceIndoor DiningTasting menusCreative cuisineStylish interiorCosy atmosphereHip atmosphereScenic viewsGreat foodChic décor”

“Fantastic Experience at The Log Tavern in Lodi, WisconsinBefore heading to a basketball game, my family and I decided to grab a bite at The Log Tavern in Lodi, Wisconsin. I must say, it was an excellent decision! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a pre-game meal.The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pizza. It was phenomenal, with a perfect crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. It's clear that they use high-quality ingredients, and it truly made a difference in taste.We also tried the pretzel appetizer, which was incredible.The service at The Log Tavern was awesome. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's always great to see staff who genuinely care about their customers' experience.Lastly, we had the chance to meet the owners, who were very cool. The margarita sampler was to die for. I got the burrito, rest of family got quesadillas or the tacos. They all raved about their food as well. Real authentic Mexican food and great price.
