Definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in the world. Every dish was fantastic. The food was very interesting, with innovative ingredients. More importantly, unlike some fine dining restaurants, they made sure that every innovative dish was absolutely delicious. Particularly the koji ice cream with brown rice and caviar, the shiitake rooibos tea, and the madras carrot cake. They also made great substitutions for my pescatarian wife. I had a fantastic experience in the tasting room! Devine food, perfectly paced and portioned. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and always there with what I needed. It is clear the staff love what they make, and are excited to share it. The only pre fee coursed meal I'd experienced before coming to Ardent was Thomas Keller's Per Se.... Let me tell you, this experience at Ardent exceeded every past "elite" dining experience I've had.Each course was well thought out and beautifully executed. Highlights on our menu were the curry carrot cake and the uni onion soup. Each course held an element of surprise and finesse. I asked my boyfriend to take my back here for my birthday. Everyone cross your fingers!!!!
