Very cool setting, cozy and comfortable. Surprisingly, it was not busy at all for Sunday brunch. We were there around 10:00 and there were empty tables in a small space.No real interaction with staff; you order and pay on the table top app. Staff delivered food and were very friendly for the few seconds we saw them.Lots of vegan options, which is nice for brunch. The non-vegan french toast was dry but the bacon was smoky delicious.

Driving through Wisconsin we needed to stop for lunch, so we took a little detour to eat here. It was so worth it! They had a lot of interesting vegan options on the menu including some baked goods (a weakness of mine). I got the Vegan Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich and my partner got the Huevos Rancheros and a side of French Toast. Everything we ate was tremendous. I saved my vegan coffee cake for breakfast tomorrow, but I'm excited to try it! Updated from previous review on 2023-07-28

Visiting Wisconsin we were impressed to find so many vegan options. We stopped by The National Cafe for an early breakfast and were pleased to find such an adorable cafe, that smelled of fresh baked goods, serving (what we would later find out to be) delicious breakfast options. Food was great, coffee was strong, and service was with a smile! Definitely check this cute place out.
