We’ve been to Los Rivera’s numerious times over the past year and a half + -. The atmosphere is quaint. The owners are nice. The service is typically good. The food quality is consistent and fresh. We love the jalapeño taco truck sauce. The red and green salsas are yummy. My Fav is the Picatta burrito, M loves the shrimp burrito with creamy cheese sauce; and we both enjoy the fajitas. Oshkosh has a plethora of average Mexican eateries. In my opinion, Los Rivera's is a bit better than the rest. During our recent visit, we were very pleased with our meals. Service here was also good.
Everything seems to taste a bit better here. Also most things seem a bit fresher here than any of the other Mexican places in Oshkosh. Los Rivera's competition ( Durango's, Cozumel, and South of the Border are all quite ordinary) . Los Rivera is my first choice for Mexican in Oshkosh. During a recent visit, I ordered just some ordinary soft shell taco's They were fairly tasty and a dollop of sour cream or guacamole was available to enhance my taco's.
