“For a bar that looks kinda run down and iffy outside, it sure is in great shape inside! We dropped in for a quick drink on Friday afternoon just to see what it was like. The outside gives the vibe of an old tavern/dive bar so I expected the inside to be the 1980's typical bar but I was definitely surprised to see how new and updated it was! The ladies room was super clean, the furniture in the bar was practically new, the bar was shiny. There was a small but good selection of alcohol and the bartender was friendly and informative about the other local *competition* and goings on in the area. We had already eaten lunch but I think we may drop in for a burger sometime and see what it's got going on.Give it a chance, you will be pleasantly surprised too!”

“Went to Jaspers for Trivia on Monday night, like the Host. They have Trivia every Monday night. The atmosphere of the bar was very Homey. Lots of people there tonight. Mt friend hangs out there. “A lovely coffee shop we stopped at on a Sunday before brunch. The coffee was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. Family friendly if you do bring kids. Plenty of space. Interesting food menu if a quick healthy bite is desired.Vegetarian options: There are vegan options if needed. We spilt the gouda bell pepper soup with our coffee.Kid-friendliness: A few kids were there doing homework or reading a book while the parents sipped on their cuppa joes. There are kid friendly beverage options.”

“This was our first time trying J's and it didn't let us down. They were very helpful with the menu explaining the options. When I asked about the Cole slaw they offered a sample. The brisket had a great "crust" with lots of peppery flavor. Was pretty lean which I like. Cole slaw didn't have dairy and uses a mustard sauce which I'm a big fan of. Didn't try the beans or sauces so can't comment there.Dietary restrictions: When I asked about dairy in the Cole slaw the answer came back quick and the cook even came out to ask if I needed help with anything else on the menu including what had egg. Super cool!I'm sure it was easier because it wasn't overly busy. But it made for an excellent experience. Thank you!”

“We had a group of 10 for our holiday friends get together. Everything was hot/hot and cold/cold. Food was delicious! Waitress was fantastic and friendly. She joked with our "joker." The Beer Meister is a creator of many specialty beers that are offered in rotation over time, and just about anyone seeking more taste, flavor, and variety can usually be well satisfied with the selection available from the 14 taps in service. The establishment offers Crowlers, Howlers, and Growlers for carry-out, and some of the beers are available in cans. Logo merchandise is available behind the counter, such as attractive mugs and Growlers as well as T-shirts and hats. In pleasant weather outside seating is available on the Fox Riverside. The atmosphere inside is pleasant and it's a good place to have a conversation with old friends and new acquaintances. I love this place!”

“What a pretty winery. Wood fired pizza's and the FRESHEST salads ever, all home grown veggies. Delightful. Pizza had the best crunch and done to perfection. The wines were good, the front porch so comfortable and the waitstaff excellent.”

“We popped in here on a recent visit to nearby Fox Lake. Great little Wisco brewery gem! KBC offers a wide selection of crafted beers. I got a 6-beer flight and all were good. Standout beers included the Citra Spice IPA, Knuth Classic lager, and the Blue Eyed Blonde ale. Bartenders were welcoming and explained what's available. They have a kitchen. The wood fire pizza was amazing, great accompaniment to the beers. Wings need some work. Great homey vibe with lots of local folks hanging out. Very family friendly - my kids enjoyed our meal. Another wonderful thing about going here is they have burger that can be served on a gluten free bun. “My wife and I took 5 of our grandkids to this ice cream parlor for an ice cream reward for being good in the grocery store, and the service was very attentive and polite. They use Cedar Crest ice cream, which is our favorite. We had a very good time and enjoyed the ice cream very much”
