We had a great time tasting at the winery! Our host guided us effortlessly through the wines offered at Rock and Wool. We felt welcomed and at ease while we enjoyed our tasting. The barn at the venue is a feast for the eyes as we kept finding artifacts that reminded us of our youth! The wines they offer are wonderful, and they keep a full complement of activities at the winery. There was a bags tournament when we visited. This Wisconsin Winery near Madison has a friendly atmosphere. I've gone a few times and each time the service was excellent. The wine is delicious. I like the fact that it is all Wisconsin grapes. I've noticed that a lot of Wisconsin wineries import from other places. If I go to a Wisconsin Winery, I expect it to be Wisconsin Wine.I had a wine tasting which was personal and fun! Such a wonderful winery/tasting room! Rustic atmosphere, and the guy who was pouring for us was actually one of the wine makers, so needless to say, he knew his stuff. Excellent wines!
