“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.”

“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!”

“I mean the ultimate WI bar. An old house still set up like an old house. Dingy old and perfect. Bluegill was some of the best I've had in the entire county. Highly recommend.”

You would think that some of the younger staff in high school wouldn’t know how to do their job because well they’re young, but they rock it out. She is an incredible person, helping us every step of the way. What they were able to achieve with their beautiful space is going to liven up downtown Lake Villa.We held our ceremony at Lehmann Park and our catering was from Galati's next door to HBC. The chicken had amazing flavor and literally fell off the bone when you picked it up. The Mac n cheese was to die for. The owner was so kind. I told her my sister is vegan and she ran back and sent me with a sample of the chickpea curry for her to try….so thoughtful. We absolutely would recommend trying this place.
