“Hookers Bar and Grill has been upgraded with a fresh remodel. The atmosphere is there is now brighter, more open and energetic. Plus, the staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Friday Fish special. With the deep fried haddock, two medium pieces are served. If you are hungry, try paying for additional pieces. The place is situated on the banks of the Wolf River. A boat landing and campground are located there as well.Kid-friendliness: Coin-op type amusements are available.”

“First time stopping in and we were blown away with how good the food was. I got a mushroom and Swiss burger with potato skins and my wife got a rueben with sour cream and chive fries. Both were very good. Then we got one of those giant cookies as we headed out the door. Delicious!We're already talking about stopping in again”

They are always super friendly and easy to talk to, if you like to chat a bit that is. They also take their time to make sure it's right. If you're driving through and want to stop for a quick sub. “We catered in donuts from Donaldsons for our wedding dessert. Jane was wonderful to work with and was so accommodating. She made various flavors, some matching our wedding colors and others with candies and other sweet treats on top. The donuts were beautiful and tasted amazing, our guests were raving about them all night. If anyone is looking for unique desserts for their event, I cannot suggest Donaldson's enough. “Our second time there is the past couple of months. Once for lunch and tonight for fish. Both times the meals were great. Friday fish (the cod had the most wonderful, light beer batter breading) was wonderful. Once again we were met by one of the most personable people - Mary. She's right there to greet us, pays attention to our "specific" drink choices and to our orders. Service was quick and Hot - thanks also to the Chef. But hats off to Mary for remembering us and being very friendly. The bar was full and noisy but the overall atmosphere is great - it's a landmark and I hope it continues to do a thriving business. Mary seems to wear many hats but handles it well. We'll definitely be back.”

“Stopped for a drink on our way home. The bartender was a nice guy only works one day a week I think he said but he was fun to talk to and made sure we had drinks when we needed them too. He even went as far as to recommend other places to stop on our way home in Crandon.”

“What more can you say when you go here for the first time and meet the owner. Brian welcomed us for stopping by, Right when we walked in the front door. We chatted a little bit and got right to shaking dice. It was 3 of us playing and I won the game. Bartender John was so fun to talk to as well. This bar not only has like 8 dart machines, it also has a pool table and a card table. "How cool is that, plus a large open area." I will definitely be telling all my friends to come over here. Plus, in a couple of months, they will be serving food. Currently, they only make ? ? ? pizzas. They also have beer straight from the tap.”
