The restaurant sits on the shore of lake Michigan, there are two levels in the restaurant with a panoramic view of the water. Food was outstanding and the service was great. I enjoyed it enough to visit a second time during my stay in Manatowoc. You can eat at a chain restaurant anytime but this is what makes travel so much fun is finding a experiencing new things.
We tried this restaurant tonight, because our favorite is to eat fish by the waterfront. We dined early....4:30. We were seated right by the window, for a fantastic view. We chose to share the fisherman's platter. Our waitress was so accommodating! We ordered a baked potato as an extra side, not realizing that this also came with fresh baked bread and a very nice salad, in addition to the green beans (hericot verts). Ate breakfast here when staying at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the fried eggs were cooked perfectly, which in a busy restaurant isn’t always the case. The wait was a bit long on a Sunday morning, but the views are extraordinary.
