“We were told about Nico’s by a neighbor so we gave this place a try. We were very pleased, our waitress was great, checked on us 4-5 times making sure everything was alright. The restaurant looks to have been remodeled and was very clean, and the pizza was loaded with toppings. A thin crust, crispy, sauce a bit in the sweet side, nice spice, fresh onions, large pepperoni, was very delicious and surely will be back.“
“Nice neighborhood bar on a corners of Beloit, Lincoln & 68th Sts. Five slots, darts and an AMI jukebox. You can shake dice while you're waiting for your food too.If you order the garlic bread, you get eight 2"x3" pieces with some pizza sauce on the side. Good. They have 12" and 16" crusts to choose from. All the toppings are extra, no meat or vegetarian specials to choose from. I got a 16" sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper. The thin was crust crisp and the cheese, gooey. Very good. Next time I'll ask for more oregano and maybe black olives.$20 for a 16"(large)cheese, toppings on a large are $2 each. I will return. 11/21/2023“
“What a cute little shop. VERY homey, farmhouse style decor. They have one table that seats eight which they call their "Community Table," and the rest seat 2-4 people. If there is a wait for a table, they have a cozy couch area for comfort. They've really created a wonderful atmosphere. The service was outstanding. The young lady providing our service was so friendly and kind. They've cultivated such a warm ambiance that even when there was a glitch, all was right with the world. Being my usual brainless self, I have forgotten her name. I really need to start WRITING them down. I get so involved with the food that other details get pushed aside. Shame on me.Speaking of the food. SO delicious. Wednesday is their Detroit style night and the people who ordered pizza loved it. One ordered the Baddie, and two split the War & Pineapple. They are large and like me, the one who ordered her own, loves leftovers. I didn't go with pizza. I dined on two appetizers instead. The Loaded Focaccia Sticks, and the Bourbon BBQ Wings. The sticks are just amazing. They are LOADED with pepperoni. Little ones, but LOADED. They come with marinara for dipping but no need for it. The flavor is so good that I found the marinara actually detracted from the wonderful flavors already included. The wings a really meaty. No baby chickens used for these. The sauce has a little kick, but not too much. I like bleu cheese as a dipper with BBQ wings, but they only have ranch. Hang on. They have several different types of ranch - even have a flight so you can try multiples. I opted for the peppercorn and it was just a fabulous combination with the bourbon BBQ wing sauce. I only ate half of each item and brought the rest home, along with dessert: BB Cakes Brownie with a scoop of Mint Chip. Very rich. Had a few bites before bed. Can't wait to do this again for dinner tonight!Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options available.Parking: At 5:45pm I got the space directly out front. Our last person to arrive at 6:05pm was parked directly across the street.Kid-friendliness: I think this would be a great place for introducing kids to a more gourmet style pizza with a build your own option to include those ingredients they prefer.Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see wheelchair access as the main entrance is a set of stairs. It is located in an older build that has been remodeled for the restaurant. Now that doesn't mean they don't have another entrance that I just wasn't paying attention to. A simple phone call should answer that question for you.“
“You won't be disappointed in the food, its really good. I just can't get over the beer prices.. 10 dollars for a beer is insane. 7-10 dollars for craft/local beer.. shooo. The food is worth checking out though. ??? Get the Half-Chicken if you want something fried and fantastic.“
“Wow! Had the ham and turkey and was remarkable. I ordered a large and after the order was in they happened to be out of the large bread, so they brought out 2 regular sandwiches (other sandwich not shown in my photo) without even asking. Please support this locally owned business. Real food.. real good. Good vibe too!“
“This building has held several different mediocre pizza suppliers over the past 10 years, I was apprehensive to try the latest version. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the current pizza. The pizza is huge and tastes great, garlic bread is too. Our order was a bit pricey, but it was worth it. We will be back for more. Thanks for bringing a decent pizza to the neighborhood.“
“Ordered a pickup here last Saturday (3/2/24) while we were visiting some friends in the area and were so satisfied! We had the Dillorean, a Sausage Pizza and a build your own plus a lighting rod; all was delicious!! The cracker crust is so crispy, the toppings were fresh and the order was hot!“
“The food IS tasty, well made and well seasoned, but the portions are wayyyy too small for the price unfortunately. It is good if you have the money to spend, but if you're looking for quantity go elsewhere. Fazoli's breadsticks are amazing tho for real.“
“Dave Portnoy come on done to Pepi's. It's an incredible pie! The crust is crisp, the undercarriage is firm with a bit of a char. The cheese is most delicious. I would like to consider myself a pizza aficionado. It probably stemmed from the fact that my mother ate nothing but pizza while pregnant with me. I'm no Dave, but believe me, we share the same brain waves when it comes to pizza. If you are looking for a great pie, stop by Pepi's and grab one or ten, but, you don't have to take my word for it!“
“Been going here for years... Not sure how I've never reviewed them.. weird... Anyway, pretty much my favorite pizza in the Metro area (They have the accolades to prove it)...Pizza this good takes time to make though, so be ready for a Wait when you call it in.. in six years they messed up my order once, just once.. probably a new guy or something, honest mistake... I emailed them about it.. Boom, free credit towards our inevitable next order. You have to love a company that stands by its product... Especially when it's this good... Btw, make sure to save your half off tabs on your boxes.. After 10 pizzas it's half off one... And that can be worth some good cash if you get their largest most loaded pizza ?“
“Incredible garlic bread, as they seem to be known for. Definitely had a wow factor for the size alone, which is expanded upon by the intense garlic flavor.Mozzarella sticks are huge and breaded with garlic bread crumbles (ends of the loaf). DeliciousMy wife had the lasagna, which was everything you want...cheesy, saucy, meaty and tasty. I had the Chicken Parm over Spaghetti, which was more of the same.On top of this, we left with an entire extra entree (lasagna plus garlic bread), leftovers for at least 2 more meals, extra appetizer we didn't finish, and all for under $70 including tip.Kind of sad we didn't find this gem earlier, but I have a super high standard for Italian so I'm hesitant to try new places. Luckily, now I don't have to.“
“I like this place a lot. I usually get the door county cherry chocolate chip ice cream and the employees are very nice. I love that they have free lactaid for those who need it, I can actually bring my lactose intolerant friends here! They also have some good vegan options.“
“The tables are very small, barely enough room for three people when one table is supposed to seat four. Originally we were taken to one table for a party of five, it's simple math. If a table designed for four can barely fit three, then how will it work for five? I suspect the guy was lazy and just didn't want to move two tables together. Fortunately he wasn't our server. Our server was sweet and attentive. We always order the pizza, however, this time we all decided to try their pastas and we were not disappointed. Of the five of us we had salad, pesto chicken pasta, mostachioli pasta, lasagna, and alfredo. Not a single one of us had anything negative to say. I had the Alfredo without any additions. It was very creamy, I tend to add salt and pepper but this time I didn't have to. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Each normal size pasta dish comes with a whole garlic bread, and the small pasta dish comes with a half. The garlic bread was perfectly crisp, however, it could use more garlic and butter. I added parmesan cheese to compensate.Wheelchair accessibility: There is only one handicapped parking spot, but it is literally two feet from the door.“
