“This is a small gem. The food is delicious. I love the fact that they have a grilled cheese menu. The pizza is good, and even have a gluten free option. Sometimes it will be crowed & other times I will be able to corner up and play dice w the bartenders. I enjoy both! It has a dart board, a handful of slot machines and cold beer.”

“I've been here a couple times and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They offer a great whisky list and a selection of Pips Mead, which is nearly impossible to get anywhere.Be sure to call ahead for current hours to The Terrace since their website can be inaccurate.”

“Found their pretzels at New Glarus brewing and was fortunate enough to try the buffalo ranch flavor. These things are like crack, you can’t stop eating them, and you keep wanting more. My only complaint is I can’t get them anywhere in Chicago. Seems like a mom and pop operation so I’m glad to see them at New Glarus and hope they expand to many more places! For now I’ll have to savor the many bags I bought while up in Wisconsin.”

“Went to see Lunch money bullies and it was a lot of fun. Could have been cooler up by the band when we went to dance though. Bartenders were busy however none of them were when I went to get a drink and I stood with my money out for a while until the lady next to me had to yell to get their attention.”

“This is a nice place and the food was great. I wish that their online menu reflected the current prices for the wings. It is expected though, their was a sudden price increase and updating needs time. The wind went from $0.50/each to $1.00/each. I still ordered them and they were delicious. This was a hood stop and will definitely return in the future. Be sure to check out their "Taco Tuesday," it won't disappoint.”

“We just discovered Scungillis's as it's a bit off the beaten path. We have tried multiple sandwiches, soups, stromboli, and desserts. Everything we tried has been amazing. It's great quality and large servings. This is my favorite lunch spot now.They have a catering menu too which looks awesome. We plan on ordering from it in the future. We are lucky to such a gem in the area.”

“Great little local sandwich shop. The woman working was super sweet and told me that thier meats come from Elkhorn, Wisconsin and their bread come from Sciortino's Bakery on Brady Street (I used to work there in college!). I got turkey with provolone and all the fixin's then added pesto too. Even the pesto tasted homemade! It was a great, hearty sandwich. And I got a punch card! I'll definitely be back. I'll try the soup next time too.”

“This was a perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. Our food arrived hot and our server was gracious and pleasant. We felt no need to hurry but we're able to longer and enjoy a good visit with one another. It was my first visit to The Local but it won't be my last. Be careful, though, as you may miss it because, at first glance, it looks like a house! BTW, the fries are outstanding!”

“Very unique place to go to. It is owned by military vets that are retired. So the inside is set up military still. With many things to see from past wars. “Surprisingly tasty Mexican food off the beaten path.I had the birria tacos. They were packed with beef. My friend had the bistec Mexicana. I snuck a piece while he was in the restroom. That was awesome as well!Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time eating at the Rainbow ? Restaurant. My husband and I moved to waukesha a couple years ago and we were searching for a ma & pa style place that was close to us, to eat. I believe we hit the jack pot. The staff is friendly and not afraid to talk with you. The prices are decent but mostly the food is done right. Fluffy eggs, NOT burned. You should give it a try. “Our food was great, our waitress was awesome. She was friendly and heard it was my sister's bday, and brought her a brownie with whip cream. That was really nice. The only negative was when we walked in, we all noticed a gas smell. So maybe that needs to be addressed. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch very much.”

“Great burgers. Yummy homemade sauces! My kids love the hotdogs and the grilled cheese. Love that it’s a straight forward burger joint, with the perks of gluten free buns and homemade sauces! Can’t wait to try the chicken sandwiches, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I really hope they continue to grow and do well. The outdoor environment could be a little better but considering being newer and all they’ve taken on amongst quarantine years/economy even, we don’t mind one bit. Love that my kids can run around and eat when the weathers nice. “The Friday fish fry was delicious. Some of our group had cod, I had the bluegill. All the food came out hot and crispy, plus the potato pancakes were good too. I'll be back to try the Italian beef special on Thursday. We did have to wait at the bar for a table but it was well worth the wait.”
