Parking: Kind of a lower income part of town. The restaurant is excellent as a carry out. Before Covid they had dine in. Food is excellent and service is great. Every one is polite. Sometimes, me and my wife get wanton soup, especially when it is cold.
For as long as I can remember, Main Kwong has been a Charleston landmark. But now, apparently, they have become at least a partial victim of covid & the economy. The very Spartan dine-in part of the restaurant has been closed completely. The "restaurant" is now à carryout place only. You can either phone in your order for delivery or self pickup... or you can walk in, place your order at the counter, & then wait on a bench while your food is prepared. Noddles were amazing, rice was good, chicken was fine, wontons were not good and the wonton soup was the best part. The restaurant itself is a bit terrifying but this is mainly a takeout place I'm assuming. I think this will be regular takeout for me (:
