“Our first time trying their food. And they did not disappoint. We had the curry chicken and jerk chicken, with the greens, mac & cheese and rice. This food was so flavorful and delish! The owner, Bina, served us herself, and she was so pleasant and lovely. She made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be eating there again. Definitely the most flavorful food in the area! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“The food has an absolutely amazing taste, and the service is great. The waiters were attentive and made sure we didn't run out of drinks or chips and salsa. The bathrooms were very dirty. The restaurant atmosphere Is pretty decent, it could be a little brighter though.Parking: There are several parking spots!“
“Yesterday I booked The Honeycomb for the grand opening catering for my new business. The food was absolutely delicious and the display was very elegant. The owner personally delivered the food and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. My guests raved on the wing flavors and were all excited to go check out this restaurant. “Very clean, nice atmosphere. Staff was professional and well dressed. Ordered 2 types of sushi, and shrimp and steak hibachi. Overall good meal. It was hard to figure out what type of sushi to get, they have their own specific recipes that are different enough from typical recipes that it was hard to know what to get. The salad was okay, except for the water in the bottom of the bowl? It was odd and diluted the delicious ginger dressing. Overall though, the meal was good. Fried rice was delicious, hibachi was well prepared.“
“The price for lunch has gone way up. My husband and I usually go where we can share a meal, but we love this place and have not been there for a while. So we decided to go for lunch, almost 25. $ for 2 buffets and 1 tea. I don't eat that much & neither does he. We usually go somewhere where we can split a mealand sometimes still have leftovers. Great food, great service it's just that everything is so expensive anymore. You can't afford to go out to eat. I love my peanut butter and jam sandwiches, lol I love China Buffet and will go back when I have a few things paid off. It was just a shock when we got the bill because the last time we were in there, it wasn't that much for lunch.“
“This place had an awesome New York Strip! The service was excellent the waiter wasn’t at our table every second but also just seemed to know what and when we needed things! We sat in the big barrel table! A truly awesome experience! The bourbon selection was vast but they definitely had some pricy pricy pours in behind the bar but a great selection overall!“
“Always great. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Charleston! If you know it you love it ...if you don't you are surly missing out. The menu has changed some over the years but the quality and consistency has not. The Greek Salad Bowl with house made fresh poppy seed rolls are perfect to start. The seafood is reflective of what's in season the catch but if it n doubt the blackened yellowfin tuna steak never disappoints. The steaks are great too, as are the Maryland Crab Cakes. And I can't forget to mention the raw bar where the oysters,shrimp, etc are chillin on ice. I only wish they would put my all time favorite meal back on the menu....the marinated Teriyaki Steak with red potatoes. It was one of a kind and set the bar for what I still to this day expect of steak.“
“We were on the highway at 9:00 and didn't want fast food. Luckily, we found Las Trancas is open until 10:30! The chips and salsa are very good. I have the Enchiladas Mer y Terra (could of misspelled) which was three different enchiladas. One shrimp with crab, one potato, and one beef. This was a good dish. I didn't love the potato one but I would order the shrimp and crab enchiladas all alone! Hubs had a plate of three chicken tacos. We each had a soda and our bill was under $25! That almost never happened anymore. Next time I travel through I will remember this place.“
