Let me start by saying that I sooooo wanted to like this place. We waited for a hour for our food. We had to ask for salsa and chips about 20 minutes into our wait. The salsa was fresh but flavorless (lacking onion, garlic, spice), the chip were all but crumbs. I ordered the rolled tacos, the chicken had no flavor and the cooking oil overpowered the whole thing. Only about 1/2 of the tortilla actually had the chicken in it, and it tasted old. The guacamole was so over salted that that was all I could taste. It had sprinkled bagged cheese on it and lettuce, and about a tablespoon of green salsa. And to boot, it was all cold. Terribly disappointing. Nothing authentic. My husband got the torta, the meat was old in smell and flavor. He got a box and dropped it in the trash outside the door. I had stayed the hour wait convincing myself that it’ll be worth the wait once we got our food, but sadly it was a lie I had talked myself into. The waiter all but ignored us. Bad food, poor service. We left and went to Wendys. I hated fast food, but it was way better. Sorry, but no. Never again.
Amazing food!!! Love the new building- the atmosphere is awesome!
I cannot express how wonderful our experience at Mr. Taco was this evening. My daughter selected this restaurant for her birthday & we had two large tables of friends, family & children. Our service & food were top-notch. The restaurant custom-made a dessert for my daughter & had recorded birthday songs for her. We had an amazing evening & I highly recommend this lovely, family oriented restaurant with quality, authentic Mexican fare.
The Quesabirria was fantastic! The house salsa and cheese dip were spot on, as well. The service was great even though they were short handed. Would like to see some accompaniments/sides with the entree, but, that isn't a knock on quality or value.
First time here, first impression was a cozy cute lil Mexican joint. Service was great. The cheese and salsa were amazing. No lie that's the best salsa I've ever tasted, so good. Anyways I ordered some food and it was well portioned for the price, the food I got was delicious, it came w green salsa, beef broth soup and a lime. Perfect combo, but man the taco dipped in the salsa is the ultimate combo. ?
Best TACOS Ive hadWalked out feeling like El Gordo.Wife socal Burrito was HUGE!!!I will be back.
If you're looking for great Mexican cuisine, check this place out. I had the carne asada quesadilla. It came out with the cheese melted instead of still cold and shredded like most Mexican restaurants. When we went they were busy and there was only one server, but the guy did a phenomenal job and still provided top notch service. I'm from out of town, but would dine here again when I'm in town next.
Cozy atmosphere...good service...excellent salsas and the quesabirria tacos were to die for !!!!!
Amazing food Amazing service very authentic Mexican food best in state. Will definitely be a regular
Food is great but the prices are ridiculous. I paid 43$ for 9 tacos. I can make them at home that taste just as good . Hope they do well but don’t see how they can last with those prices
Ordered from Mr taco for the first time tonight and I have to say they are the best. The food is delicious and they are so friendly
Now that they have a brick and mortar location this place is just too good. Best tacos and burritos you'll find and delicious desserts. Prices are fair and you won't leave hungry. Highly recommend
I've been excited to try this place as people rave about it, but I was pretty disappointed. The prices were very high for the portion sizes we received. We ordered chicken quesadillas and found them to be average size but pretty much mostly cheese with some chicken. We also got fajitas that were smaller than average sized but filled with mostly vegetables instead of meats. Also picked up the biria plate. It didn't look great, but it was pretty dang tasty. Enjoyed that one so nothing bad to say there.Overall the food was cooked well and very flavorful, but the portions were small and mostly full of filler items (vegetables and cheese in our case) instead of meat. For the price you pay, I definitely would have wanted bigger portions and more meat.
The staff here are extremely kind and love to have a good time. You can tell they live their job. The food was amazing and definitely worth the money. The restaurant was also very clean and nice looking. The only problem was that it took almost 45 minutes to get our food while we were the only ones there.
Wonderful people! Delicious food and a truly family-oriented establishment. They were so accommodating for our group holiday luncheon! ❤️ What a blessing for our area.
