“Myself and Andy were asked to perform before an evening WVU football game. A light audience at 1st but by game time, a nice enthusiatic and appreciative audience gathered. The game was fun to watch and WVU won!!!The staff were absolutely great. Sarah Beth made sure we had food and drink throughout the night.I ate the "Pulled Pork Sandwich" piled high, juicy and delicious w/ some great tasting fries. A great selection of brews make it an awesome place with an awesome atmosphere and great food!!“
“The Jar is amazing! The food is top notch! Fresh, original-menu items, delicious and reasonably priced! We've eaten in as well as ordered take out. Food was exactly as I ordered and made fast. The drink menu is also amazing! Highly recommend any of their "Jar Drinks". Our family eats there at least once a week! The staff is also extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Overall great hidden gem!“
“Food was great. Alex was our server was attentive, but not intrusive. Chopped pork plate, with slaw and baked beans was wonderful. Home made sauces "spicy, and sweet" both good, especially mixed. Our first time here, won't be our last.“
“Great unexpected find. I was actually looking for a thrift store in this vicinity when I found this tavern. This place would be a perfect place to have a wedding reception, office party, holiday event, Saint Patrick's Day party, family reunion, super bowl party, large gathering or you name it & I'm sure they can handle with their large kitchen! The large room offers so many different options. However, I did get to see some pictures from some of the past bull rides that they have held. Give them a call and find out when they will be holding their next bull ride!! With their HUGE selection of alcohol, I strongly suggest that you have a designated driver lined up because you are guaranteed to have a blast here!!!!“
“Customer service was top-notch. Food came out fast and was super fresh. Ribs were tender and chicken was juicy and packed with flavor. But the best part of the food was those sweet potato fries! Best I’ve ever had :) There was fantastic outdoor seating and my puppy got to enjoy lunch with me. If you want a good meal that was made with care, go here!!“
“Everything was really good except the macaroni and cheese, would not order that again. Steak was tender and delicious, baked potatoes were really good, loved the bread! Waiter was not all that pleasant, but the man who delivered our meals was.“

“My son and I always eat at the bar. We've never had a bad experience here. The staff members always have great attitudes and are polite. The food is always quick and fixed exactly as we requested. I can't speak about how long of a wait it would be on a table only because we have only eaten at the bar.Parking: Parking never seems to be an issue, we always find a place right up front.“
“Cool little "hole in the wall" bar and grill. The stuffed Hungarian Wax peppers and the wings with their signature bottom of the jar sauce were fantastic! The bartender was funny and awesome to talk to and yiu never had to ask for anything. Check this place out if you're in the area!“
