Chico Bakery is the home of the Julia's Pepperoni Rolls. This bakery, which has been around since the '20s, offers a West Virginian specialty, using the original recipe of Julia Chico. They're that good that they're the official roll designated for the West Virginia University Mountaineers! We popped in based on Yelp advice. While we stood almost in the operation of the bakery (so cool!), we were greeted warmly and treated well. We walked away with a case of frozen to ship and 4 hot buns to eat. It was such a great experience, we returned later in the week for a case to take home. Both times, the service was amazing and the people were, too. Lucky us.
