Did not like. Service took a long time. Food was super greasy and not fully cooked. Would not go back.

OMG! This place is AMAZING! Came to Morgantown for my sons state thespian festival at WVU and googled places to eat; Iron Horse was one of the first places to pop up and I am so glad it did. Usually I tend to pick places to eat/ stay that aren’t good and my family will never let me hear the end of it but; but this time I have definitely redeemed myself by finding Iron Horse. It’s a really cute spot and the service was awesome. I feel horrible that I don’t remember our servers name but she was on point. We started off with the truffle fries and literally were devoured in 6/7 minutes of our server bringing them out. The Cuban sandwich and their Dixie Chicken sandwich were delicious and the Mac and cheese was delicious as well. My son ordered the BYOB and he enjoyed it too. They had a cute mocktail menu that offered a “lemon spritz” drink, AMAZING! To end our wonderful meal I got the peanut butter Oreo parfait; OMG WAS I IN HEAVEN… Everything we ordered was delicious and we were so happy we ate there. We will ABSOLUTELY be back every/ anytime we are in Morgantown.

Poor service. Waited 20 min and sever never came to us. People walked in 15 min after up and they were immediately were served. A waist of our time.

Was craving a hearty salad and a beer. Iron Horse nailed it. Service at the bar was very good without being annoying. Decent selection of local beers on draft.

Waited over an hour for my food. Once it got there, I just had to get a to go box because I was late getting back to work. When I was finally able to eat, my burger was rare, so I couldn’t even eat it! Do not recommend!

The bartender was accommodating , friendly, quick to please and knowledgeable! We had a 4 day stay in Morgantown and came here twice! The chef is fantastic, food and drinks best you can get. Don’t miss this place! The buckwheat donuts are a must! And the poppy seed dressing is to die for!

I was at Iron Horse Tavern on a Thursday around 530. It was my first time there. Sat at the bar, had two beers and an appetizer. I was honestly shocked at the prices. For their craft beers on tap, they were 8-9.50$ each which is so high. I could understand if they had rare or non local beers on tap but these were very basic. Perhaps it’s just inflation but it shocked me! I had the pretzel appetizer which was 8ish bucks, 3 pretzel breadsticks which were likely frozen and the “beer cheese” was lumpy and flavorless. Ordered a Cuban sandwich to go. The sandwich was SO dry and didn’t taste like a Cuban, very lackluster. The chips were good! If the pricing wasn’t so high I may of stayed in there longer. The bartender was nice and the atmosphere was nothing special. It wasn’t terrible at all but probably won’t return if I visit Morgantown again. It was highly convenient as it was just across the street from our hotel. Parking is meter parkingOr a pay lot.

Great service. And fantastic food. The fish and chips were amazing. The truffle fries are to die for, ate them so fast i forgot to get a pic. Also highly recommend the Appalachian trail cocktail as a good drink choice.

Ordered the fish sandwich, it was delicious. Their fries are AMAZING! Also ordered a lemon fizz (one of their mocktails) and it was very light and refreshing. My only complaint is that the music was a bit loud. But the service was great and friendly.

Beer selection - fantastic, food - mediocre at best, atmosphere - Chuck E. Cheese. If you want to drink great beer with kids sitting at the actual bar and running rampant throughout the place, check out Iron Horse. And my beer glass had someone else’s lipstick on it - lovely - maybe you’ll also pick up a cold sore at this Chuck e Cheese establishment.

Best American food in Morgantown. Never had a dish there that disappointed. Wait staff are friendly and great. Wish it was a little less dark inside, but it’s an awesome spotVegetarian options: Have an impossible burger, many salads, and sometimes vegetarian specials

The pierogis were delicious! Great place to get a bite but contrary to popular belief but I think you could skip the buckwheat donuts and try another dessert item. Overall, great experience as a first timer, new to the area!
