We were quickly seated in our waitress came over and introduced herself her name was Ashley and she is a little bubbly blonde and was just so friendly and kind.... She was very quick with our drinks and our food the drinks for very good the food was delicious and the atmosphere and service is out of this world.... Ashley if this is ever brought to your attention thank you thank you thank you....
I've ordered food from here before and enjoyed it. The bowl of chili is just lasagna sauce with no noodles, salad was good

WV 02-2024 The Green Turtle Bar & Grill in Morgantown, Tony & I had dinner with my childhood friend Terrie Clay. We had a few errands run in Morgantown before dinner and decided to grab a quick bite before returning to hotel.We had been talking about the Green Turtle for a while now and decided to give it a whirl. I have to start by its a little pricey!!! Right off the bat...it definitely could come down a few bucks. The size of the portions does not equal the dollar amount they are asking!!Tony had the Shrimp Cajun Pasta with bread sticks no side salad nothing for $20. I had the Baja Shrimp Tacos which was $17, it was 2 Tacos loaded down with chips and a very tiny tiny cup of salsa. Terrie got the cheese steak sandwich with fries for $18 and it was like 6 or 8 inches with barely any meat, lots of peppers and barely any fries..The plates were very underwhelming!!!The value was just not there!! They are pricing based on their interstate location! The food was okay. I was not crazy about my Tacos. The topping on the slaw was way to sweet. Definitely not enough salsa and way too many chips the salsa chip ratio was extremely way off!!!Tony liked the pasta, a little dry. Not enough sauce but the sauce was good. It would have been better with either more pasta or a small side salad for the price! $20 was a little much for the portion sizeTerrie didn't have much to say about her sandwich one way or the other. The beer cheese tasted like cheese Whiz the type in the jar, nothing special.We might try them again!! A lot of choices in Morgantown!!Terrie and I both had water with lemon and lime while Tony had a few beers!The check was $80 with taxes and tip!!

Pleasant sports bar. Lots of TV's. One at most tables. You can't change channels. Wait staff is very nice. Food was hot on arrival. Crab cakes have large chunks of meat. Good flavor. Enjoyed our food and will return.Parking: Handicapped parking at door.

Food was fantastic. Service was not good. Three parties that came in after us received their food before us. One party even had four people in it. Another party of two ate, paid and left before we got ours. Our waitress most of the time was no where to be found. Once we asked about our food 50 mins later, she acted like she was suprised that we hadn't got our food yet. I asked for a discount for the wait and got 5 bucks off our bill. Our bill was still 55 bucks for a burger, chicken tenders and some dip for an appetizer. We were not impressed.
I ate at Greene Turtle the afternoon of 12/26/23. It was very busy at the time. From what I could tell, there was only one server which was Ashlynn ( sorry if my spelling is wrong). She was doing a phenomenal job. In a situation that would have overwhelmed most people, she was hustling and taking care of everyone! She had a very friendly attitude and was still attentive and made sure I was taken care of even though it was obvious she was so busy. I have had Ashlynn as a server many times and she is always 100% on it as far as her friendly personality and attentiveness. I just wanted to shout her out for great service and work on a day that I’m sure was hectic and stressful. Great job Ashlynn!

I normally don't do a review unless it is a great experience or a disappointment. This time it was a disappointment. I visited the Greene Turtle for lunch with my mom ( her first time ). I ordered the blackened chicken Caesar wrap, which is decently priced at $12.99, so I opted to pay $2.00 more for tots. Then, I asked to try a small side of beer cheese to go with the tots and assumed it wouldn't cost that much more. Never assume, because the small plastic cup, and it was small, the waitress brought, was $3.50, making my meal $18.74! Now this wrap was not even close to worth that, and I didn't eat a quarter of the $3.50 beer cheese on the greasy tots. This is a prime example of serious over pricing, and I won't be back. My mom's meal was highly overpriced, as well. Food that is just average and definitely not a good value, and I have no idea what the good reviews are all about. Those people must have money to burn or no expectation of value for hard-earned money.
