DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!! the place is nasty and dirty there is an infestation of roaches in the kitchen area the food has no flavor and is not made fresh! Just slight warmed up! It's awful! The staff is awfully rude! And charge you top dollar for trash!!!!!

Weak, blank margaritas. Weak, bland food. I feel bad for whatever white guy made the recipe menu for the place, or whatever poor sap let their employees butcher it. After eating Mexican food from people in Florida who were first generation immigrants I can honestly say you'd be better off at taco bell.

The fajitas were cooked at too low of a temperature for optimal flavor and the type of chorizo is not the kind more authentic locations would use. It's not a terrible location but it's all very "Americanized" even by tex-mex foods. A better food quality can be found in st. Mary's or across the river in Marietta.

Food is average. We ordered take out for dinner and food was okay. Not the best Mexican food we have ever had. The salsa sauce that comes with the tacos is WAY too spicy. So spicy, you can’t even enjoy it. Beef was kinda dry and off smelling. Rice smelled and tasted like feet. Queso was runny. Over all just average. Mexican is my favorite type of food and i literally only picked at my food tonight.

Flavor!!! Maria is the best!!Vegetarian options: Vegetables and rice, beams, etcKid-friendliness: Very much so..Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Good food, reasonable prices overall. Only real issue is the bizarre music selection they play. You might get 80's rock, you might get weird electronica or just about anything EXCEPT good old mariachi tunes. I really miss the traditional ambiance they used to have. BTW, Tuesday is discount taco day but if you spend less than $10 you'll have to pay cash :/ If not for those two annoyances this would be a solid 4 star place.

We visited on Taco Tuesday and both got tacos. One of us had carne asada tacos and the other pork tacos. The tacos were very good, but I didn’t have anything else to compare with. The pork taco flavor was so good that I didn’t use hot sauce. The food was served so quickly that we didn’t eat chips and salsa until we finished our meal. The salsa was a mild salsa.I would definitely go there again.
Good for the whole family and nice size dinners for a pretty reasonable amount!!

The best Mexican food in Parkersburg no question. The waitstaff is on-point, no empty drinks or empty chip baskets. I swear our food came 5 minutes after we ordered it. As busy as they were, I couldn’t believe that only 2 servers could handle the entire restaurant so well without falling behind. The owner even hops in and helps out with refills, delivering food, and seating tables when she has to, and she stops at every table to check in with customers in between. One thing you have to try is the dessert. The offerings here are unlike any other Mexican joint in town. The Bananillas are incredible. If you haven’t been here yet, just know this is nothing like it was when it was Tampico’s. The menu is mostly the same, but the quality of food is miles better than what was served under the old ownership, and it’s so much cleaner too.

I want to honestly say this is the best Mexican restaurant in Parkersburg. Don't let the outside deceive you. The quality of the interior, the service, and the food was delicious. I've been to a few Mexican restaurants and this place is our number 1 restaurant to go to. Keep what you are doing and give your outside an updated look. Thank you for everything.Kid-friendliness: My son loves his chicken strips.Parking: Plenty of front parking plus being in a plaza there is plenty of room.
Would have added extra stars for this place. Owners and staff are very welcoming. Food was
