I live out of state and every time I travel home I make it a point of getting some pizza place pizza! I have eating pies from Northern NJ and NYC and this place is better than any other, in my opinion. Pricey but worth it!

Located conveniently across from PHS High School, The Pizza Place offers a convenient option for locals and visitors alike. However, my recent experience left much to be desired. The parking lot is small and tight, which can be challenging during busy times.Upon entering, my family and I found ourselves in what appeared to be a line, only to be ignored by the staff who seemed preoccupied with their own conversations. Despite patiently waiting, we were never greeted or acknowledged until someone after me took the initiative to step forward with money in hand.Once we finally placed our order, we were informed that our plain cheese pizza would take some time as it was fresh from the oven. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, we noticed others receiving their orders promptly while ours remained unannounced.Frustrated, I approached the counter only to be met with confusion as they claimed to have no record of our order. Despite this, they handed us the pizzas we had requested earlier.Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve upon tasting the pizza. While the flavor was reminiscent of what I remembered, the pizzas were disappointingly mid and cold. Additionally, the lack of customer service was glaring, with the staff appearing too busy and disinterested to attend to patrons.Do, overall, my family and I left The Pizza Place feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return. Despite the convenience of its location, the subpar service and quality of food make it a regrettable choice. In hindsight, we wish we had followed our instincts and opted for the one in the mall instead.Parking: It's a small lot. Right at corner of stop light making it difficult to get in or out.

I wanted 2 center piece thick cheese pieces of pizza she said she couldn't do that bc it was too hard to do that is the very 1st time I have ever been told I couldn't have the pizza I wanted she did offer to cut off the crust off an edge piece for me but then my pizza would of been even smaller no thanks idk what was so hard about giving me 2 thick center slices of cheese pizza.

This pizza place is minutes from my home and I usually don’t have many issues. Recently, the pizza seems to be getting worse. My friend and I decided to try dine in the other day, bc delivery/pick up hasn’t been great. We got two slices of thick cheese and one slice of thick pepperoni. It came out and was not thick crust and it was so hard we couldn’t even eat it. We asked for new pieces and they gracefully replaced the pizza. We figured it was probably just old pieces that got too over baked during re-heat. When we got the new slices, they too were not thick and the crust was really hard. We were able to eat them but was highly unsatisfied. Someone needs to better quality control. They are famous for their pizza and people don’t mind paying the high prices, but the last four orders have not been worth it!

We love pizza place pizza but their prices are ridiculous especially when it only costs them $1.30 to make a large pizza. They are taxing people especially in Parkersburg and Belpre. You need to lower your prices asap!

Our service was quick, food was hot & fresh, reasonable prices, clean tables and floors, only negative was atmosphere -it was cold, wish the fire was going because it was a cold evening and we shivered as we ate our pizza. Did not visit restrooms but they are usually clean.
