“Very good food, reasonably priced. Delicious hot tea - loose leaf (!), you don't get that often in restaurants. Friendly staff. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!”
“We frequently pass by Charleston and recently decided to sample Yen’s Sandwiches. Despite its modest size, the establishment maintains a commendable level of cleanliness. Transactions are efficiently handled through self-service kiosks, particularly convenient for touchless payments. The pho, while decent, didn’t disappoint. Notably, their beverage selection—featuring boba tea, slushes, and more—captivated my taste buds. The restroom, albeit compact, remains functional. Street parking is the norm, and fortunately, spaces are typically available. We intend to revisit Yen’s Sandwiches during our next journey through Charleston.”
“Tudor Biscuit Breakfast! While on a road trip to Charlotte North Carolina we made a stop to. Little breakfast spot that the drive through was staying full! We walked in and it was empty, so we order from Josh who was amazing! He brought out our food and drinks quickly which made me ?... somebody back there knows how to cook! Everything was fresh and well made. Tasted awesome and was full of flavor. The biscuits were perfect and huge! Listen... if you are in West Virginia and get a chance to try them DO IT!#scotchwithe#food#foodie#foodblogger#foodreview”
“Newly remodeled since our last visit. Food is still very delicious! The server from Cross Lanes was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly authentic cuisine!”
“Today was my first ever visit to this Gino's and my am I IMPRESSED, I ordered the homestyle spaghetti with garlic bread. The pasta was cooked to a perfect tenderness and the sauce was served separately lessening a soggy effect....I will be from now on purchasing this delicious dish from this Gino's.....the toast, delicious!”
“The people were great, the food was just ok, and the atmosphere was not all that inviting. We do highly recommend the Reese's peanut butter cake!I had the pulled pork sandwich, which tasted good, but was texturally more like a Sloppy Joe sandwich than pulled pork. The coleslaw was very good, which is not something I often say.My husband had the Chunky Butt sandwich, which he said was just barely warm and had peppers and onions in it, which he wasn't expecting. My mom had ribs, which she enjoyed. She didn't like the side of cabbage she got, but I tried it and thought it was good.My dad had the Tuesday special of meatloaf (not pictured), which he said had a good flavor, but was kind of tough. It was very slow when we went, but we thought perhaps some things would be better when they're busier and there is more turnover of products in the kitchen. If nothing else, we'll go back for dessert!”
“The overwhelming reviews are correct. This is the best NYC style pizza around, and the best lunch buffet in the area. Simply amazing restaurant and we’ve been coming here for years. Ignore the social media troll (s) coming here from far away to leave nonsense based on the businees defending itself against out or area influences. Some people need counseling.”
“So delicious and pleasant we were last to leave. Can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Bean and cheese burrito with chili relleno, rice beans is flavorful and filling.”
“With a group so we were given a private room and excellent service. Friends gathering several months after the death of our friend. The service and atmosphere could not have been better.”
“This may cause an argument with some in WV, but I do believe that Suzi's has the best biscuits around. My husband agrees and this has been one of our favorite breakfast places for many years. Fast, efficient, and you honestly can't beat the prices. I hope this place is around forever and ever. 5/5 stars.(If you would like a recommendation from the menu, try the ham melt biscuit, extra melt. Fantastic. True cat-head biscuits. )”
“Just had the BEST first experience at Pho ? My son & I had: shrimp dumplings, crab rangoon, spring rolls, and the combination fried rice. YUM! We will definitely be back. Service was 10/10 + quick!”
“Love it. The staff is great, and extremely friendly!Parking: Lot on both sides of the restaurantKid-friendliness: They love kids there. I have 4 grandbabies and they love going to eat thereWheelchair accessibility: My brother is in a chair. We have alot of problems in many places”
“Very nice restaurant with some nice variations of the standard offerings. The area is a little lackluster but ignore that the food and service. My suggestion is the pineapple shrimp tacos. They are well prepared, topped and presented well. The option of getting sides that are a little uncommon in the local restaurants were nice as well. The black beans were well cooked and seasoned and the street corn was perfect.”
“I get bags of crushed ice everyday. It's pricey for just a grocery bag of ice but it's definitely worth it. I love their Meat Monster Pizza.Kid-friendliness: Sometimes it's like a daycare in there with all the employees' kids helping them out behind the counter but I'm glad to see them getting to spend time with their mommy's”
“The Tom Yum soup, and Red Curry. Excellent. They cook with fish sauce, and it adds a zing. Musci was lovely, jazz, and the waitstaff were attentive, and worked as a team to get food to the table. Lovley experience. Plus, I collect elephant statues, so the art was also to my liking. A bit on the pricy side, but with mostly fresh ingredients, I can't vouch for the bamboo shoots, but mushrooms and eggplant were lovely. Give em a try, worth checking out.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps to parking at a distance, but there at corners for sure up to building. Wheelchair will be able to get through the door, and could find a table, as they are spaced wide enough. Slightly cramped into the sushi bar area, depending on how busy they are. And that's the path to the bathroom. Bathrooms have lift handles on the wall. (at least for the men's room) and plenty of room for a wheelchair. Sink seems to be a decent height. To my able bodied eyes, it looks to be accessible, if I view it like when I had knee surgery. Hope this helps.”
