This little restaurant always lands on its feet! It's newest location is sublime and makes Casper feel just a tad more shiny. Same great people running it with the same great food. The bar is great too.Vegetarian options: Could improve here

I think the concept of this place was to sell bad Mexican food at a high price and see if people come back. I, for one, will not be going back. I had the #1 combo. It comes with 1 fried taco, 1 enchilada, rice, and beans. The cheese enchilada was mediocre at best. It was greasy and didn't have a lot of cheese in it. The beef in the fried taco had zero flavor. It tasted like the just browned cheap beef. Save your money and go to the smaller Mexican restaurants in the area.

1st time visit here. Excellent Mexican restaurant. Great portions and our service was good too. The chips are thick, and warm. I got chile rellenos and was a little disappointed in the way they were cooked, but they still were tasty. Beans and rice are excellent.

I had the Chili Relleno plate and wish for fresh Tex Mex versus what you get: a relleno with no spice, no taste served on a plate of dull Spanish rice and flat refried beans. Not that LA Cocina did anything wrong and for what they serve its better than most places in town. I long for a decent, handmade meal in this town that doesn't involve bland food or steak. Go to La Cocina. The new restaurant is very nice, the staff is great and the food is fresh.

Food is still amazing and fresh. We are stuffed. I definitely recommend going there, my only complaint is their salsa is so amazing it's hard not to finish it.

Went there last night...Wanted to try the new location..I was very disappointed. The food was over fried. The steak burritos hardly had any steak. The chilli rellenos were small, they tasted like canned, barely any cheese, very small for the price and you only get 2.Beans watered down.Rice over cooked.waited 30 mins for our food. Not busy at all. Should of went to Taco Bell!!!

Food was great, 1 downside for me was being offered queso and guacamole with the chips and salsa, almost 5 bucks each... Kind off a hidden up sell. All excellent, just unexpected.

Went to the new location after work on a Saturday evening. My wife and I were sat right away. The service was great and attentive. The dining room seems a bit small but seems to fit plenty of patrons. The bar is bright and colorful and the overall atmosphere is great. The food came out hot. Maybe a bit too hot as I got the fajitas and the skillet ended up burning the onion and pepper mix. My wife got the carne asada and this was pretty flavorful. Location is great. Overall it was a good experience and we will be back.

Every time I come to Casper this is one of my favorite places. Great fried tacos. This time we decided to try the new place on Centennial Ave. 4 chicken fried tacos looked like this. Very very disappointed in quality of food and quantity. Little to no fillings inside taco and it was very soggy versus nice and crisp. The other location off I25 always served loaded and crisp deep fried tacos that our family loved. Hopefully they improve because the new location is very nice.
