We arrived and were seated quickly, appeared to be 3-4 staff working. We were brought menus and water, then someone came to take order. We were never offered drink menus or asked if we wanted something other than water. We aren't local, so we thought maybe they didn't serve alcohol and we don't do soft drinks. Took forever to be seated.. only 2 tables of customers. Apparently one woman was doing it all- seating people, waiting on tables, bussing tables. Food was so-so. Server disappeared after bringing our food. Finally asked if we wanted a coffee refill - as we were ready to leave. Disappointed in a place that looked like it was going to be exceptional.

Never disappointed. Hathaway's buffets and holiday events are superb. Great food, with amazing selection. The ambiance is elegant but not stuffy, making it work well for couples or families and casual to dressy. Excellent and friendly wait staff. I highly recommend Hathaway's.
