“we have enjoyed Anongs food for years, never a complaint! Today we had a complaint that we discreetly talked to our server about, she immediately said we've served many of those today with no complaints. Server walked away, came back 10 minutes later and said, the owner said you don't have to pay but you can never come back! We never indicated we wouldn't pay or anything else besides our original complaint. I'm stunned to be treated this way. one time in many years we were less than satisfied....I still recommend but I won't return nor will my mother”

“Called ahead for some pizza and a sandwich wile we were on the road so that we could sit down and eat quickly. They were quick and the food was delicious. We were able to sit down and eat and get back on the road in less than a half hour! Thanks to the staff who were kind and efficient!”

“We read several reviews before eating here. Some are on point. Others not so much. I'll try to clarify some things. I don't want this to sound like a bad review because I love supporting local, family owned businesses. Some reviews talk about screaming kids. I was confused when I read those so here's the tea... it's a family owned restaurant and they have little kids there who do run around the tables. For me it wasn't a huge deal. Like I said before- I love family owned businesses. That being said, that might be irritating to some people. The food wasn't anything out of this world but it scratched the itch we had for Mexican. The salsa is SUPER spicy! If that's your thing then this place is for you. I don't like super spicy food so it wasn't the best experience because I do enjoy me some chips and salsa. The service was meh. But in the waitresses defense, she's young and was juggling all the tables during the lunch rush so kudos to her. If you're looking for sotol, kinda like Mexican moonshine, then this is def your place. They have a jug of it sitting out and it has a real snake in it!!! Hope this honest, but trying-really-hard-not-to-be-so-harsh review helps you!”

“Went on a Saturday. Very busy. Took almost an hour to get food. Usually it's pretty quick and no wait. Had to get it to go since it took so long.. Got the Turbine. Was ?”

“We were travelling and stayed at the attached hotel. We were happy to learn about the Turnbuckle Tavern upon arrival since it meant we didn't have to do any more driving to grab some dinner. My wife had a burger and fries while I had the Philly sandwich and onion rings. Everything was fantastic! Fast, friendly service and high quality food, big portions with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!”

“Husband and I stopped on our way through heading to Minnesota in a fabulous uhaul. The food was excellent and the owner/waitress was great! I had the pork chops with loaded baked potato with corn on the cob! Husband had the pulled pork dinner with mashed potatoes and the beans. Will definitely stop again if we ever travel through again! “The staff is always friendly, professional, and service is quick but the quality is still great! This is my halfway stop traveling eastbound or westbound on the I-80 through Wyoming every time. “I deliver with DoorDash and often find myself picking up orders at the Rawlins, Wyoming, McDonald’s. Sometimes it takes a while for them to fulfill orders, but it’s because they’re very busy, being the only McDonald’s in town. Their food is well worth the wait. Sometimes while I’m waiting for my next order or for them to finish fulfilling a DoorDash order on the books, I’ll order myself a nuggets meal with some sweet tea. I also love using the McDonald’s app codes that allow me to get free nuggets as a bonus!”
