5 Best Seafood Restaurants near Dauphin Island

“Skinners Seafood is amazing! Their seafood steam was so delicious! We had snow crab legs, fresh shrimp, red potatoes, and corn on the cob. They were all cooked to prefection. They are friendly and fast! We didn't think it, though, cause we were passing through and didn't have any utensils or a crab cracker; however, we improvised and ate it at a small park nearby. Thank goodness we had a roll of paper towels, an extra beach towel, and a single dude wipe in the car. It was super delicious. My kid and I ate it all, and it was totally worth the beach towel casualty (which we threw away cause we didn't want the smell in the car for the rest of our trip) and sticky fingers till we could find a place to wash our hands. We will definitely come back... next time we'll be more prepared for sure!“

“I love the flavors and portions! I usually get the steak burrito bowl with black beans and add guac. It's my fav! I get lunch there multiple times a week, and I just can't get over how good it tastes. The food doesn't make me feel heavy, so I don't need that nap right after I eat.“

“We were in line when they opened. Read reviews and looked at the menu beforehand. We knew exactly what we wanted for lunch. I ordered the special: chicken tacos. The picture does not do these tacos justice. They are so full you can hardly close them. I couldn't eat both, so my husband finished off the second one after his blackened shrimp. He enjoyed his as well. A lot of shrimp in the basket. Next time he wants to try the fish tacos.“

“We eat there everytime we go. . Some time 3or 4 times.. waitress are very nice and help. They make sure your experience is great. Great drinks not too much alcohol in them. Waitresses are very friendly. They do close early, so make sure you get there in time to eat. If they have big group at tables especially if there more than one.you might not want to eat there they have a limited staff so wait time would be long. Never had a bad time. “I'm not sure how this place isn't solidly in the high four-stars already. It's a five in my book, all the way. Prices are very reasonable, for the beach.The cozy, open air dining is a great atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They apologized ahead of time because of the fact that I might have a bit of a wait, but it wasn't even much of a wait at all. This was during dinner-time. They take call-aheads, as well.The shrimp Po Boy and fries were out of this world. My wife got the cheeseburger, and it was just as good, or better. It was all so good, we came back a second time, when we had originally planned to sample some of the other restaurants on the island.The chocolate and vanilla milkshakes were fantastic, as well.Be careful going here, because you might become addicted, and your home is likely far from Dauphin Island!“
