“Small town diner with a new fresh attitude, white and pale blue interior, cute actually. Very noticeably clean. Eclectic mix of clientele. Those drawn in from road, or visit, town folk, some old male "salts" with long gray beards at a table telling retirement stories. Sadly had a water leak from roof and a bucket on floor for collection, but forging on n making do with the situation. Very good food, large portions, fresh standard diner fare at moderate average prices. My waitress, bubbly, gregarious, 40 something-ish, caring. Worked her way up to waitress in the kitchen. They back their town people, hire women, people who want to work there, and earn their way "in" and are proud to say it. They are a team. I actually was proud to eat there, the generous slice of "small town America" I had for dessert was exceptionally refreshing and reassuring.... I went the next day too!”

“It's an awesome taproom with amazing Arkansas beers and ciders. You go for the beer and stay for the entertaining conversations and great folk you meet. Also, lovely live music when the weather is warm :)”

“My cousin, sister & I stopped to grab coffee while we stopped in Fayetteville, AR to just explore for the day. The coffee was amazing, our server was amazing (I think her name was Jocelyn), we asked her about places to visit and she shared a few with us then came back a little while later with a list of more. She was super sweet & very helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I would definitely go again!”

“I work next door at the salon so have been frequenting. The staff is always beyond helpful and nice. The pastries and coffee have been good. Today we decided to try lunch and just ordered a couple grilled cheese. They were very dry and hard. Grilled cheese is suppose to be buttery and creamy. There seemed to be no butter at all and hard bread and very dry cheese and no flavor. Sadly....altho starving we threw them both away. Im still giving 5 stars because of the above. Hopefully they get their lunches, in particular grilled cheese sandwiches up to par.”

“What a GEM! We happened upon this place while traveling through & are so glad we decided to stop in. The flavor options are not only fun but also quite delectable. We were served by the owner, who was also the sweetest. We enjoyed a scoop together with the kids and even took a pint & fun patch home. We can't wait to stop on our next trip through to grab some more treats and to say hello once again! Maybe next time we'll remember to grab photos before devouring it all, haha. “My cousins and I visited the café on Broadway just before Thanksgiving last year. We were in Saloam Springs visiting another cousin. I had the chicken almond Panini, and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is perfect. What a delight to find this cafe.”

“One of the best classic style old fashioned hamburgers I've ever had. My wife had a malt that she absolutely loved. I had one of their cyclones that was absolutely to die for even the kids. Nuggets and fries were excellent nuggets and the Chipotle Burger is amazing. Everything just runs out of the center of the meat. How it was cooked in. This is a hidden gem and the in two employees that were there worked like the best well-oiled machine I have ever seen. It only took two of them to cook. Run the dairy side run. The register restaurant was spotless taking care of large amounts of to-go orders and not forgetting to say hi to every patron and nobody waited at the register. Any business can learn from them!!!”

“It's a comfortable little donut shop with the tried and true recipes given to Asian run donut shops. They have a drive through, but I like to go inside and say Hi to the lady running the cash register. She even took the time to make a custom breakfast sandwich for me because I don't like cheese.”

“La Chele 2. Interesting name for a restaurant.For me, it is hard to accurately evaluate ethnic foods if you don’t know what the authentic taste, composition or presentation should be. Most of the Central American food that I have had is very lightly seasoned. The foods rely almost solely on the flavors of the vegetables, fruits and meats in the dish with very limited strong spices such as the chili peppers and other spices that stand out in Mexican food.As for La Chele 2. The food is made with fresh ingredients, prepared when you order it. The Arroz con Pollo was as expected, unseasoned or very lightly seasoned. It was simply the flavors of the chicken, mushrooms, onions and cheese. The menu says the chicken was cooked in a special salsa. It may have been, if so, it was very mild. After a couple of bites, my wife who seldom eats hot sauce, was reaching for the bottle to flavor up her plate. The portions were large, the food hot and fresh!A few minutes later my Pollo Guisado (Salvadorean style chicken pot roast) arrived at the table. I immediately asked for the house made salsa picante. This dish (recommended by the owner) had chicken thighs and all the vegetables you would expect in a pot roast and a few more: carrots, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and potatoes. The house salsa picante really helped. The black beans were excellent! The sauce with the Pollo Guisado was very rich. Made that way from the fat rendered from the stewed chicken during cooking or possibly added oil or butter. The broth had a distinct yellow color with the noticeable taste of chicken flavoring added. A delicious, rich meal. Both meals were served with thick house made corn tortillas. I could have made a meal of the tortillas, black beans and the house salsa picante.La Chele 2 is located in a modest, repurposed suite in a declining strip mall just north of Hwy 412 on Mt Olive St. Order and pay at the counter. A mom-and-pop operation with limited service. They do a lot of take-out business. They have a fair-sized menu. If you are not a Salvadorian food expert, check the menu here before you go. It will save you some time!The Salvadorian cuisine will unlikely be my favorite As for La Chele 2, the freshness of the food and the large portions made it worth trying. “On on visit to Siloam Springs we came across Cafe on Broadway. We ordered the Strawberry salad for lunch and they were helpful with our need to be gluten and dairy free. They have inside and outdoor seating. If you dine inside you will be welcomed to their eclectic style and piles of board game.”

“First Cup This morning I had my first cup of this day at the Ground Floor Café on the beautiful campus of John Brown University. El Socorro Honey Maracaturra from Guatemala. A delicate, sweetly tart with juicy, high-toned acidity..., a lively cup indeed. Here is the description from Olympia Coffee. “Honey Processing leaves a bit of coffee cherry intact after pulping, skipping fermentation altogether and allowing the coffee cherry's natural sugars to marinate into the bean while sun drying. The result is a lush, fruiter version of what is already one of Guatemala’s greatest coffees.” Olympia Coffee. To be crystal clear, it is my earnest opinion that there is not a better place in our immediate territory for a finer cup of coffee than the Ground Floor. The staff are simply the best. Their commitment to consistency, the highest quality of process, without compromise is outstanding. I can lead a horse to the trough, I cannot force the horse to drink. Let me give my highest recommendation for you to enjoy a cup of coffee at the Ground Floor. If you are in doubt…, that’s ok, let me buy you a first cup. (limited buys)”

“This place has the best food. I have only been here 3x now and every single time I order wings they always give me more than ordered. We came inside to eat last week. The ones working the counter seemed new but that’s okay. It was still a great experience! I believe the cook even came out to our table to check on stuff.. unless he was a manager! “Freddy's has one of the best fast food burgers anywhere..and the fries are the best in the country..been eating at Freddy's for many years at different locations and they are always fantastic..this time i tried the Pepperjack burger it was good and spicy..my wife had Freddy's California burger and it was fantastic..service is always top notch..Thank you for doing a great job”
