“This has always been a favorite of ours! Last night we stopped in for dinner. The lasagna is my favorite. The staff is attentive and friendly, providing outstanding expectations. Thank you for a wonderful experience.Dietary restrictions: My daughter has celiac and cannot have gluten. This is one of the few places that has a great selection of safe gluten free food.Parking: It's usually busy and it can be hard to find parking. There is overflow parking in the lot adjacent. It's totally worth it though.“

“The food and service was absolutely amazing! We had the tacos, the b.l.a.t. and the island pork. Only one person in the group has a gluten allergy, and no one could not tell that the food was gluten free at all. I appreciate how much care went into the meals and how much attention the customers received, it was as if I walked into a friends home. We will definitely be back!“

“The hidden gem of hidden gems! Sundays are my days to get cozy and find some really good coffee. I chose the Vietnamese coffee because that is a good predictor if the place is good or nah. The coffee wasn’t overly sweet which right there made it an 8 and then every sip made me appreciate it even more. The croissant sausage egg and cheese sandwich was out of the oven fresh with the right ratio of ingredients. All fresh and the sauce was what made this item a 9.9 (I would have given it a 10 but the guy working brought me the sauce half way through eating it, and I was sad that I didn’t get to enjoy it fully). The music was on point and the guy working there was amazing and made sure my experience was a great one. “This was a great find in Mesa after searching for something local and unique. First time to try a Venezuelan restaurant and it did not disappoint. The server was excellent and she helped us navigate the various options and make some decisions about what to order. Food was fresh, tasty, and well worth the visit. The Arepa domino with the white cheese was incredible and the fried sweet plantains were a great compliment. Definitely need to visit this place.“

“I have been ordering food here for over 2 years for my companies monthly manager meetings and we have always been super happy with the quality, portion size and taste of the food. This month I made a mistake and ordered without selecting the time and date of pickup (totally my fault) so the food was naturally made asap. I called when I realized what I had done but the food had already been made and was awaiting pickup. At first I was upset at the prospect of paying for the food twice (my meeting was for the next day) but more concerned why they didn't call me so I spoke to the manager/owner. He was extremely accommodating and didn't make me pay for the food twice--that wasn't my intention--but it made me feel good to know he recognized my loyalty as a long time customer and wanted to make me happy. I will continue to go to Z Cafe for all of our company caterings and will share my recommendation of this great breakfast/lunch spot with everyone. Thank you Z Cafe!!!“
