It's important to know that Heritage Restaurant & Caviar Bar closes on August 30th, 2025, as their lease expires. Therefore, July 4th is one of the last opportunities to visit this place.

My lovely lady Tonya and I (Woelfer reservation) dined there in Chicago on Sunday October 6. We were in town from Tampa,FL to visit family and go to the Bears game. We made a last minute reservation because we were staying right across the street at the Gwen. This was to be our last dinner in Chicago before heading back home to face what was now going to be hurricane Milton. Our waiter was Jesse. He made the whole experience so memorable. Was very informative of everything on the menu and just had great character about him. I had the sea bass with miso glaze and Tonya had the lump crab cake dinner. We had oyster Rockefeller as an app and the tres leche cake for dessert as well as an after dinner cappuccino. We discussed our upcoming trip back home to uncertainty with Jesse and he seemed to really be emphatic to our situation. As I said he just had great character and knew how to treat his customers. At the end of our dinner when we received the bill the managers on duty gifted us with a nice discount and comped a couple of our menu items. We honestly were so grateful and it showed how much you as a business truly cared. We both work in the industry me being an executive chef and she a waitress, so we truly know how much a small gesture can create a lasting impression. So thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts. We came back home and immediately had to put up storm shutters and ride out the storm with our kids. We called tonight after the storm had passed to thank Jesse and the staff but he wasn’t working. So we thanked the manager on duty. Thanks again for exemplary hospitality and compassion.
