“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“

“Yesterday I purchased a bunch of food i've never been to this place before. Brought it home and just yum yum all night long. The owners are beautiful people with their beautiful baby. And I am so proud of them. A young couple with a new business and a new baby can show people how it should be done. And the food was fantastic, the coconut prawns, The green curry either chicken and prawns over rice.I will be back. The restaurant was so clean. You can smell the bleach. I am so happy when I walk in and I can smell bleach. Knowing that the place is clean and sanitized.“

“I really love this place. This oysters bar is hidden gems in downtown martinez. As you know, it is so hard to find oysters bar in Contra Costa county. This bar located in the main street plaza. My husband and I are oysters lover and we are so happy to find this placeOysters were so fresh and tasty. Each week will have different kinds of oysters, you can call them to ask which kind of oysters they serve on that week.Clam chowder was so good, too. But we prefer it to be more a little bit salty. It wasn’t a big deal, we just add some more salt ourself.We went there during happy hour (Wednesday-Friday from 3-6 pm) we ordered “the mother shucker”, it comes with beer or other beverages (depending on your choice). I use to live close and went at least one a week now I'm 45 minutes out & wishing they had one closer to me cause I have to drive a good 45 minutes to get here but I gladly do it when I can. Prices have gone up, but that is to be expected. They are still delicious, so it's totally worth it ?“

“We got the cheese bread appetizer which was amazing. Main course we got the skillet combo( mussels, shrimp & crab) the season butter was on point and the seafood was delicious. We got the cheesecake for dessert and you can tell the whipped cream is homemade. Overall great food & service. Parking was a bit hectic but probably due to Mother’s Day. We didn’t have to wait since we made reservations. Highly recommend making reservations in advance to avoid the wait“

“5 stars for atmosphere and seating area 5 stars for taste of food, it was actually authentic and really tasty 3 stars for portion sizes I feel that for the price portions should be bigger. Tinga sopes- 7/10 tasty in flavor but they were so small, only two per plate and the plate looked like it was missing more umph, more of a wow factor. For the price it should come with rice or beans or at least have bigger portions. Birria tacos- 7/10 only 2 per plate, nothing else but the tacos and stew included Posole: 8/10 good taste, was a little lite on the salt but good taste and salsa. Jamaica- more tangy than I'm used to but the presentation was nice. Wish they would've had Horchata. Overall I would come back and the taste of the food is definitely more authentic than most. Loved the atmosphere. And liked that they have a wide variety of drinks and cocktails and alcoholic drinks to choose from“

I've been looking for a new place since my place closed down during covid and I have tried 3 other places and the food was not good at all . I will gladly drive over the bridge from Benicia for this place. I ordered broccoli and chicken tons of chicken and the broccoli was perfectly cooked not all mushy, chow mein and sizzling rice soup which was the best I've had in a long time. “Food was delicious, LA Primavera has several servers, this last time we really got a server who did not care to her job, ignored us from the start, we asked for water & a young man brought it , finally she gave us the menus, we waited about 15 min to order ,she came to take our order and seemed annoyed when I asked if the guac had jalapeños in it, a yes or no answer is sufficient, she rolled her eyes and said if you dont like spicy you should eat at home, our food came out , not once did she stop by to ask if we needed anything else, we finished eating and she just stood at the cash register in the main dining room working on some paper,We waited about 20 min for the check, which I had to get up and go ask her. She gave it to me , and I paid right there and then. I don't think she likes to serve a table for 2 persons, maybe the tip is a factor, I am a true believer that if you go out to eat, you have to tip and we are good tippers, most of the time 20 -25% , sometimes a bit more as some servers are absolutely nice and amazing. We all have off days, but it does not give anyone the right to be rude , her comments and eye rolling where out of the ordinary. I will definitely not go back for a while and if we do I will make sure she is NOT our server!“

My only complaint was that my ice tea came pre-sweetened, but as I understand, that was a back-up powdered mix. They did replace it with an alternate unsweetened drink when I requested it.“
