“Placed a big dinner order for my family after coming home from Reno. When I got there I realized I left my wallet at home. I went in and told the proprietor what happened and that I’d be back in 10 minutes to pay and get the food, which was already prepared and waiting for me on the counter. He told me: “No, take it and come back. I know you’re good for it.” This was the first time I’ve ever ordered food here. After delivering the food to my grateful wife and kids, I came back to pay and was happy to give him a generous tip for his kind gesture. At that point he told me to go and grab any beverage out of the refrigerator that I wanted, on the house. And the food was absolutely fantastic. Customer for life. My new go-to Mexican spot in CP“

“This was our first visit and boy was it good!! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated right away. After we decided what to order our order was taken and it did not take long for our food to arrive. We both really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return!“

“This place serves a great variety of authentic Mexican food -- super great, FAST, and friendly service. This is the best value for casual dine-in left in the area. I've been coming here since 2010, and the prices are still practically the same! They recently switched to cash only as a cost saving effort so as to NOT raise menu prices!I absolutely love this place as they always treat you like family. Highly recommended! Also. . . the food is excellent!“

“Solid option for Mexican food in Cameron Park. It’s a sit down restaurant with a bar. The restaurant has a family friendly vibe. The customer service is fantastic. But they do get busy during peak times and when it’s a full house, there is a wait time for a table. On my last visit, I ordered the Los Pinos Carne Asada which was a marinated flame broiled ribeye. I thought it would be more like carne asada, thin skirt steak. But this steak was thicker than carne asada and was an actual rib eye. It was a bit tough to cut with the steak knife. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare to what I asked for. But it was chewy, stringy. The Spanish rice and refried beans were perfectly basic and tasty. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. The waitress kept ‘em coming. My dining pals ordered margaritas, they luved ‘em. Folks enjoyed their food. Crispy asada tacos, chicken burrito, steak ranchero, chicken fajitas, and chicken taco salad. The fajita plate serving size is substantial. The taco salad was served in a crispy fried tortilla shell. It was a hefty serving size as well.“

“Even though the place is a little janky, it is so good. It's obvious that everything is house made, especially the chips and salsa. The service is good, and the interior design just screams Family-Owned Taqueria. Love it here. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, that serve yummy pastries.Oh, and if THAT wasn't enough, it's connected to a convenience store. I would 110% go back here!“
