Had a very nice meal at Hito Yatai.First time since it opened. Always on a search for a good sushi bar with a selection of fish and a more traditional style of nigiri and fewer rolls. Edo style. We were pleasantly surprised to find chef Cam(spelling) very skilled and capable as well as the kitchen chef. The place is fairly small and there are only a few staff, so it makes for a very leisurely meal. But I’ll keep going back because it’s some of the best Japanese food in the area, it’s worth the time and money! They have seasonal fish options for sushi that you cannot get anywhere else.

I found this amazing little Japanese sushi restaurant and they had Hamachi Kama my favorite, it's the fish cheek grilled and so yummy! The service was great, I sat at the sushi bar and they talked me into some grilled eel sashimi, and provided great conversations. Definitely will go back if I'm ever in the area!
