“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. “The Birria is the best here! Super tender, so much flavor, and so many different varieties and ways they serve it. They do tacos, burritos, pizzas, ramen. It's so good! It's the most authentic birria spot I've ever had. We have came back so many times now and has been consistent every single time. Inside is small, but they also have seating outside as well. Service is consistently good as well, I believe it's a family ran business so come out, give it a try, and support a local business! You won't regret it.“

“The atmosphere was astonishing I was mesmerized as I tried to catch ever beautifully decorated chandelier and pieces of art Mosaic, especially the ginormous faux melting candle. Just as you catch from the side of your eyes it a cart wheeling private bar tender inquiring on if you would like a margarita! We ordered a $75.00 plate of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops; I was disappointed for that price they give one shrimp a d two scallops? Steak was the bomb dot com though.“

“The food was very good well made. The drinks as well are very good. very creative with the la cocoa coffee. The service was kind and informative. The only thing is that the music was to loud for the setting. I noticed that the other customers had to raise the town while talking as did I with my sig ificant. “This place is a hole in the wall with a small bar and a few booths. I missed it as I was trying to navigate with Google. It doesn't have a super clear sign but it's worth going. My dad and I came here after seeing that our normal place was packed. So worth it! The salsa was amazing. They give you homemade tortilla chips with that salsa and it's bomb! We ordered the molecaje and queso fundido. Also amazing. They had the dodger game on and it was a bit noisy but overall a fun time with great food. I can't wait to go back!“

“We were craving ceviche and decided to try this spot, we ordered fish and shrimp ceviche both medium and 5 fish tacos, the total was $50 ouch! The fish ceviche was good, the shrimp just okay, the fish tacos were good and massive, you can easily make two tacos out of one. Staff were very nice!“

“I've been coming here for years. This place is very small but worth it. The tamales are on point. I definitely recommend if your going to get tamales order ahead as they do take orders starting in October. The staff is very friendly as well.“

“I recently visited Leo's Tacos located in a food court mall and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the burrito of asada that I ordered. The rice had a hint of spice seasoning, which added to the flavor without overpowering the dish. The asada was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. I also appreciated that they added sour cream to the burrito, which made it even more flavorful. The prices were quite reasonable compared to other food court restaurants, which was a plus. Overall, I highly recommend Leo's Tacos and would definitely eat there again.“

“Cute, Cozy and Calm: This is the spot if you are looking for a home cooked meal. The chilaquiles, beans, and eggs were on point! The chilaquiles were not too spicy, crisp tortillas on edges, tasty onion slices, and the fresco queso on top was like icing on a cake. The gentlemen that provided service were prompt. Both the inside and exterior patio are cute, with a brick wall and fresh flowers on each table. Must try if you're in the area.“

“Many of their items are excellent: ground beef, bean and cheese burrito, and their chicken soft tacos with light red sauce come to mind. I don't usually like chicken tacos, certainly not if they are made with flour tortillas, but these are surprisingly good. There are other good items. I certainly haven't tried everything on the menu, but one thing I didn't like were their Sloppy Joes. My mom made Sloppy Joes growing up and THESE are NOT Sloppy Joes. In any case, there is plenty of tasty food on their extensive menu. You'll just have to figure out what appeals to you. Drive thru service is pretty fast. Bring cash if you don't want to pay their 50 cent credit card service fee. There used to be a BUNCH of El Tacos when I first moved to LA in 1978. This one in Downy and one in Long Beach are the only ones remaining that I know of. I was so excited to find this one. For years, I thought they had all disappeared.“

“OMG - the food are amazing! It is NOT your typical taco restaurant. This is for the adventurous ones! I love it. The Tablita option is WOW!!! Head, cheeks, blood, etc...for the adventurous people! I love the head! I ordered the pork belly taco and it was literally a slap of pork belly for my one taco! Definitely recommend for anyone who loves food and unique food.
