5 Best Seafood Restaurants in East Los Angeles

Marisco & Tacos Mexican • $
6299 E Olympic Blvd #6279, East Los Angeles

“This has to be the best ceviche I've ever had. They serve it on a food truck and they have some seats by the truck to enjoy your food. Now you're thinking theres no way the food is fresh if its served on a truck. Well the quality and textures here are 5 stars. My friends and I ordered the Tacos de Camaron, Poseidon and Mixta. The octopus and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Not too chewy and the combination of citrus with their house made salsa were perfect. Between the 4 of us this was plenty of food. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. Wait times can be long, but well worth it. Theres a big parking lot across the street and plenty of street parking around the corner. I would recommend eating right away as the food can get soggy.“

“They don't serve authentic Mexican Burrita. There Asada burrita is actually ground beef bean & cheese burrito. No rice & steaks. It's something mexican people would call "TexMex delicacy." Taste bad.“

“I stay eating in East Los Angeles because it's my hometown and hands down we have some f the best food ever. My husband and I love Mariscos. We're always willing to try new places. This lunch truck so happens to park by my house. We were hungry and wanted something refreshing and Maye Mariscos was our pick. The lady was very nice and they had a line of people. We knew it was good when people we're ordering for the next day already. She has a very good variety of things. They had so many different tostadas, their tacos were so good. I got the camarones en salsa negra and a taco de pescado. My husband had the aguachiles verde and a tostada mixta. Everything we got was delicious we definitely made a great choice by coming. The location is a lunch truck there are chairs and a little table where you can sit and eat your food. They also have take-out and they're there every day as far as I'm aware. I definitely give them 5 start plus five more if you're ever in East Los stop by and try these mariscos. They will not disappoint you.“

“In my opinion. This place is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. Special request on a order? No problem. They do their best to make sure it comes out exactly the way you ordered it. Hot and fresh. Always greet me with a smile. My recommendation on the menu would be the number #1. Sweet and sour chicken extra, extra crispy, sauce on the side. Also, with vegetables(instead of fried rice). Love my vegetables. ?????“
