“Visited here for the first time on a early Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all so we're attended to right away, ordered the veggie korma and tandoori chicken. It was flavorful and the portions were generous. The waiter and waitress were very attentive and I appreciated our dining experience.“

“Mashaallah started out as a food truck but now has a stall in the food court of Westfield San Francisco. Despite its humble appearance, this small business offered some of the best Pakistani food I've had in the city from its steam table of freshly-prepared meat and vegetable curries. A star dish here (which came recommended by Soleil Ho) was the Lamb Korma, made of super tender, lean, meaty chunks of lamb in a spiced curry. On my combination plate, I also got the Chana Masala (chickpea curry) and the Palak Paneer (cheese cubes in a velvety puréed spinach sauce), served along with rice. Every item was delicately spiced and flavorful without being too salty, and the garnishes of raw onion and cilantro brought out the freshness of the dishes. On the side, I also had an order of Garlic Naan (another star item), which was perfectly soft and chewy and had a wonderful flavor and aroma from the garlic and herbs. Overall, the food here was absolutely delicious, and the owners were so friendly and hospitable too!“

“I've been coming to Himalayan cuisine since 2009. When it first tried their cheese naan with chicken korma and chicken tikka and yellow doll, I fell in love with the food, the customer service, the atmosphere, the stop, and the owner. I wish felt so taking care of and so valued whenever I would come in. So I kept coming back and then two years ago I moved to Portland and there was not one Indian or Himalayan restaurant that had as great food as Himalayan cuisine in SF. In If you I want the best of the best. Come here for dinner and bring your friends ;)Vegetarian options: The food is so good. You can't even tell that it's just vegetarian food. ;)“

“Best Indian fusion place in the area! A little sketchy to go at night but just don't walk around the area too much! Pani puri: SO GOOD, I've never had pani that tasted this good that wasn't in India. It was stuffed with the potato and Chana and it was spicey and just everything I wanted. We also tried the green pizza with chicken and the sauce was actually spicy. It had great flavor and one pizza was plenty for the 4 of us with an appetizer and another dish. Chicken“

“Everything I had at this restaurant was absolutely mind-blowing. My visit was spontaneous, and I brought in a friend who has never had Indian food prior. We ordered several breads, rice, tandoori prawns, dal makghi and chicken tikka masala, and every single dish delivered punches of flavours and textures, with great balance in acidity and heat. Friendly staff was the cherry on top.“

“100% Halal meats! This place is delicious, my husband and I got takeout and we ordered the Punjabi masala bhindi (mild) Malai Kofta (mild) Chicken curry (medium) Chilli chicken (mild) Tandoori roti and plain rice The mild is perfect but the medium could be a tad more spicy. Looking forward to trying some more, especially the Indo Chinese.“

“Had an amazing experience here!First of all it’s a gorgeous space, extremely intentional, airy, unique and feels like you are in another world. The sequence of the meals were perfectly spaced out and someone came to explain/introduce each dish.Highlights:-the cauliflower curry was tangy, filling, complex and beautifully presented. Amazing.-the Lamb Shoulder might have been the star. Extremely rich but not overwhelming. Spicy but balanced. Paired so incredibly well with the glazed sweet flatbread that came with it, that combo of rich savory and sweet was amazing, ended up using the glazed flatbread as a utensil Injera style.-the crystalized coconut crystals with chia and mango was such a unique dish. Crunchy yet soft, tart but coconut creamy. Pairs perfectly with the chai.-the fried chicken, a dryness to it but the dryness almost really worked especially with the lime flavors involved.-clarified Mango lassi drink, clear and fresh but all the flavors of a boozy mango lassi still present. Yum, curious how they clarified it.Everything else was delicious but these had me moved, will definitely return.“

“I deeply appreciate the owners dedication to creating a wonderful experience for their customers. Last time we went to Everest Kitchen, we had a hiccup with our Togo order. After learning about this, the owners and staff were quick to resolve the issue! We're glad we got to give them another go because it was well worth it! My husband and I had the veggie korma, lamb curry, garlic naan, mango lassi, and samosas. The entrees were flavorful, and paired nicely with the garlic naan (of course!). The samosas are MUST try. Wow. They were phenomenal!! I love samosas already, but I find that some places tend to over bread them. These were perfect. These had a nice outer shell that wasn't too thick, so you really get to enjoy the flavors. I could have eaten the whole order to myself, they were that good! The sauces that accompany the samosas are also very tasty. 10/10. Lastly, the Mango Lassi was a great treat. It was the right level of sweetness for my husband and I. Overall, after our experience and interactions with the staff/owners, we will definitely be back and thinks it's worth giving a try for those looking for quality food/service.“

“I had an amazing time at this restaurant for iftaar/dinner! Our favorites were the chicken tikka masala with Naan (they have the finest Naans!) and the beef/chicken seekh kababs. The cleanliness was excellent, which was a major benefit.I'll be recommending my friends and family about this place without a doubt! Our entire experience was made better by the owner's warm welcome and her kids. We had a great time eating at a Pakistani/Indian restaurant back home because of the atmosphere!“

“Do yourself a favor and run don't walk! The Karahi is made to perfection with slow cooked meat and pieces of ginger that give a nice textured spice to the dish. The Chicken biryani has caramelized onions folded in for pockets of sweetness. The chicken Makhni is a classic butter chicken that never misses. Their cheese Naan is gooey and delicious! I've ordered delivery and dined in before with no change in quality.“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“My girlfriend and I recently dined at Momo Masala, and it was an experience we won't forgey. The menu offered a delightful array of options, but our hearts were set on trying their renowned momos and biryani. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The momos were bursting with flavor, each bite a symphony of spices and textures. The biryani was a revelation, perfectly cooked rice layered with tender meat and aromatic spices. What truly elevated our dining experience was the ambiance. Surrounded by lush indoor plants and subtle Himalayan decor, we felt like we were dining in a cozy mountain retreat. It was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But what truly set Momo Masala apart was their exceptional staff. Not only were they attentive and friendly, but their prompt service ensured that our evening flowed seamlessly. In conclusion, if you're looking for a culinary adventure that tantalizes the taste buds and soothes the soul, look no further than Momo Masala. It's more than just a restaurant; it's an experience worth savoring.“

“My first time trying Indian food and for sake of playing it safe I only ordered chicken tiki masala and garlic naan and basmati rice. The food was absolutely delicious. Served hot and full of flavor. I asked for mild to medium tiki masala and it was perfect . The garlic naan had right amount of garlic and toasted perfectly. I look forward to trying out more items. I ordered take out and person that answered phone is same person that I met and was very friendly and provided quick service. My order was correct packaged well. “Came here for a birthday celebration and we ordered four dishes - all of which were an interesting fusion. I only wish there was a tasting menu as there are so many dishes in the menu we felt overwhelmed and weren't sure what to order - it was actually stressing us out. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes in the future.“

“We reached this restaurant around 9:45 pm on a Thursday night.Since they were closing for dine-in we decided to get a takeout. We ordered:Butter Naan: The portion size for this quite big. However the naan was a little undercooked and too thick.Tandoori Roti: Really liked it and it was cooked to perfection.Paneer Tikka Masala: It was very tasty and pretty well made.Vegetarian options: There’s a whole lot of vegetarian options to choose from!Parking: We couldn’t find a parking spot at all and one of us had to stay back in car while the other one went and got the food.“

“I rate the Baltic Kiss five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We love the atmosphere and the music. The cocktail was memorable and the food is tasty and delicious. I had the Gumbo and the vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, not mushy. My group were very happy with their order. The homemade ice cream for dessert is fluffy and delicious. The sound of the music remarkably sounded so professional because the speakers were purchased from Yoshi’s when they decided to upgrade their sound system.“

“I live out in Martinez,,,, so its about a 20minute drive out to come eat here, but this place is TOP NOTCH the most DELICIOUS indian restaurant ive been to in my life! I just happened across it one day on the way home from grocery shopping at tokyo fish. We just yelped a restaurant on the way home and the freeway exit was closest to Paradise... BOY DID I HIT THE JACKPOT!!!! We ordered something we are usually familiar with, the chicken tikka masala, and shrimp masala and some naan. They... were.. i... was... it... just loss for words. The spice, the creaminess and tang, the JUICINESS of the chicken and FRESHNESS of the shrimp! The chicken and shrimp were not lost in the sauce, the flavors were PHENOMENAL! Naan was piping hot, crispy outside and soft pillow inside. Again, loss of words. JUST. SO. DELICIOUS!! Ive gone 4 times since out first unforgettable experience and every time we get baffled and amazed of how their curry tastes so dang good. Paradise is so good that im literally not afraid to try new things there! Ive never tried curry other than popular dishes like tikka masalas, but i ventured out to vegetable khormas, saag paneers, and also gained a new found love for their refreshing raitas to enjoy with ANY curry! I LOVE their menu i wish i can take it home lolol i cant wait to come back again soon, i feel like i want to go down the menu top to bottom and conquer it all! Ahh, and how could i forget.... THEIR CHAI TEA PLEASE ORDER IT!! PLEASE!!! Their mango lassi is delicious BUT IM SO ADDICTED TO THEIR TEA!! The balance of the spices they use is PERFECT. I always order one during the meal and another fresh cup for on the way home (sorry Paradise for the troubles!) they make each cup to order so im sure its a hassle...! Anyways whew, ive never written such a long review,, but thats just now amazing they are. The server is a really nice young gentleman and i think he remembers me now for all the reactions ny husband and i make while eating lol. Even the chefs came out to wave bye to us, they are all so wonderful, i always have such a nice experience there.“

“This is the restaurant I didn't know I wanted to exist but I'm so glad it does. Indian, Irish bar food and alcohol?! Really what could be better. Came on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and placed our order at their kiosk and sat ourselves. One of the staff was there to answer all our questions while placing the order. The food came out quick and was AMAZING. We got chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, naan, rice, chicken tikka masala and chicken makhni. Now I'm picky on my Indian food and I was insanely happy. The portions were a great size and the flavor was so good! I normally like mine spicy but was happy it was more mellow so my kids could enjoy it. Inside could use a facelift but that doesn't really matter when you have great food and service. We will be back here for sure.“

“The menu had so many options that sounded good and we were trying to figure out a way to do a half and half - couldn’t do it on DoorDash, but when ordering directly from their website they have a half and half option! We got the chicken pizza masala and combination pizza ? if you’re Indian and know of Nirula’s pizza, this comes so close to being that good. We enjoyed both halves of the pizza with pepper flakes, and would recommend the half and half if you want to try different ones because these pizzas are pretty big“

“Nothing too fancy. But great food. Tandoori salmon was great! Tandoori chicken was a bit dry. Though they used chicken breast which is usually dry. Dipping the chicken in the tasty Tikka sauce helped. Excellent Naan! Mango lassi was thick and tasty. Lamb tandoori was overcooked. Would come back to try more dishes, now knowing which to avoid.“

“My dinner partner and I both agree that the physical atmosphere, and food were excellent. The place was almost empty on a Sunday night yet the service was mediocre. We had to keep tracking down the waiter for our hot water for the tea, box for take away, etc. Inattentive. The staff also seemed unhappy or dissatisfied with their jobs. The prices have gone up so don’t feel we got value for our money“

I had no idea what I had a taste for, but settled on Saffron because of the notably high ratings and reviews...and oh boy! I wasn't disappointed! I am blown away! The food here is fresh and flavorful. I had the vegetable samosas and the Chicken Tikka Kababs with Basmati rice. Everything arrived sizzling hot to the table in good portion. “Best restaurant in the East Bay! I dine out quite often, but this one has been the best dining experience in the past year! First, the entire place is super clean! The floor, the table surface, and even the wall corners look very clean and dust-free. Second, it has its own parking lot, which is a big bonus. Third, the guy was super friendly! Once we sat down, he was paying attention to us to see if we needed to order or anything. He was very responsive the entire time. Fourth, the restaurant was very quiet, which was rare near Berkeley. My boyfriend and I were able to have a conversation while enjoying the food. Most importantly, the food was SUPER GOOD! I tried some curry houses nearby, but this one was unbelievably fantastic. I didn't expect it to be this good. We order one appetizer, two curries with rice and a dessert. The appetizer and the curries were really delicious, and the portion was LARGE! I think one curry should be enough for me and a friend. I didn't really like the pudding (dessert) because of the spice, but I guess the pudding itself was well-made.The guy said it opened last July, so it's still quite new. Overall, the vibe was cool, the food was really good, and the price was pretty good as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This will be my go-to option with friends and family from now on.“
